A: No, two different locking mechanisms. Snaplux are more for Broncolor strobes including but not limited to: Siros, Siros-L, Move, and Pulso. Rotalux are for all Rotalux Go sizes and shapes light shaping tools.

Q: 3. How does it attach to the video stand and tripod?

A: I sent it back because the hood has a fabric bottom that only slides between the bottom of the laptop and the flat computer platform. I do most of my shooting on location, often under breezy conditions. The hood would clearly have acted like a sail and lifted the laptop right off the platform, crashing it to the ground. This really only works in a windless studio.

Q: 4. Does this work with EF-S lenses?

A: Yes. It works with both EF and EF-S lenses. It also has marked mounting points for both systems - red dot for EF, and white square for EF-S.

A: You can use the lights independently. Although the light does not separate, you can fold the light in half and use one half separately.

Q: 9. Does the 'Debug Mode' allow setting a focal length (sent to the camera) when using 'dumb' manual/cinema lenses (ie without ICs in them)?

A: If the lens you are using has electronic contacts for communication with a Canon camera, the Viltrox Mark V EF-E5 Canon EF Lens to Sony E-Mount Body Adapter with OLED Screen will retain the communication for sending focal length information from the lens to the camera. However, the Debug Mode will not allow you to enter your own focal length to send to the camera for EXIF data recording needs.
