Q: 4. Is this durable enough to check on a flight?

A: I wouldn't check it under a plane on its own. Usually I place the tripod in the bag and place that inside a suitcase and then check the suitcase under the plane.

Q: 5. Will it fit the Magnus VT-350 Video Tripod with Fluid Head?

A: Yes, the Ruggard Padded Tripod / Light Stand Case (35") is large enough for the Magnus VT-350 Video Tripod with Fluid Head.

Q: 6. does this case handle rod that is 41 long?

A: Even before considering this question, please be aware that if your storing something that is not going to be used very much and stored for long periods of time, then it's fine, but if something that has any real weight or going in and out of the case and handled frequently, I would buy something better, as others have stated its a VERY light duty case. More of a dust cover than a serious case. I sent it back the day I got it.

Q: 7. Can this bag accommodate Matthews Hollywood Baby Junior Double Riser Stand, is it wide enough?

A: The Ruggard Deluxe Padded 48" Tripod Case is slightly too small to accommodate the Matthews Hollywood Baby Junior Double Riser stand.

A: Yes, the stands will just fit in this case.

Q: 9. Will a RRS TVC24 with BH40 fit in this bag?

A: Yes, the RRS TVC-24 equipped with the RRS BH-40 head can fit into the Ruggard Deluxe Padded 27" Tripod Case.

Q: 10. Will this fit Gitzo GT2545T Series 2 Traveler Carbon Fiber Tripod with Center Ball Head (Gitzo GH1382QD) when the combination folded (but not reverse fold)?

Well... almost perfect. I am using this to replace a carrying case I got with my low budget light stand kit that included 2 stands, 2 umbrellas and a carrying case. I have carried up to 5 small light stands in this Ruggard case, no problem. Best things: Great price. Large capacity. Seems very durable. Downside: The handle is a little lacking in the padding area. It would be nice to have one of those Velcro wrap around pieces where the handles meet. It would also be nice if it had interior compartments to keep the light stands from bumping together and scratching the finish off each other. Of course, this was billed as a tri-pod carrying case so understandably there are no interior compartments. Adequate padding for a tripod= yes. Summary: A great carrying case for lightweight light stands at an affordable price.

I bought this case to carry my Manfrotto 294 Aluminum Tripod (28 inches folded, weighs 5 lbs) and it works great. Very comfortable to carry and it fits my tripod with room to spare.

Needed a bag to carry my tripod and monopod. I was looking for a bag that was inexpensive, but well made. The Ruggard case was exactly what I was looking for. The main zipper is sized and of suitable strength relative to the bag. I don't expect it will fail. There are no loose threads or shoddy seams. The exterior pocket is somewhat small and would be considered sizable to hold a phone, wallet and car keys at most. The main compartment fits both tripod and monopod with room to spare for an outdoor extension cord used to provide power to my camera. I expect to get several years of service from this purchase.

Good Materials that seem durable. Padding is adequate but thought it would be a bit thicker. It fits my 23 manfrotto tripod plus a light stand plus flash brakets & accessories.
