The FV500H from Boss is a both a volume pedal and an expression pedal for use with guitars and basses. When the pedal is plugged in between a guitar and an amplifier (or an input on a recording device), rocking the pedal back and forth will raise and lower the volume of the guitar. If you have an amplifier or an effect that can be controlled by an expression pedal, the FV500H has an output that enables it to be used as an expression pedal.

The construction of the FV500H is very strong. It was built to be stepped on over and over again. It features rubber grips that help to keep your feet from slipping off, and make for a more comfortable playing experience. You can even adjust the torque of the FV500H to your liking. It features high-impedance inputs and outputs that make it ideal for use with guitars and basses. A third output is provided to connect the FV500H directly to a guitar tuner.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can it handle rolls of photo paper?

A: It doesn't have a roller attachment per se. But you can create individual loooong prints - like a banner or panorama - by pre-cutting whatever you need off of a roll of paper and feeding it into the printer from the top (just let it hang down the back, up a wall behind the printer, or even flop down in front of the printer. But if you hoping to use a continuous roll as in a pro-type setup, that cannot be done.

Q: 2. Can I scan film negatives?

A: No, this scanner is not designed to scan film.

Q: 3. How does the photo image quality compare to, say, the older Canon Pixma Pro-100 ?

A: This uses 6 ink cartridges and the Pixma Pro 100 uses 8 ink cartridges. Both are great printers and would get fantastic prints. But the more colors you have the more real to life your print would be

Q: 4. Will this printer print in the srgb color space?

A: Epson Claria 6 color inks add light cyan and light magenta to the basic CMYK set. This printer cannot print in the sRGB color space with certain colors.

Q: 5. What is the quality of black and white prints on high quality photo paper? Do I need a cartridge other than black?

A: You can get a great b/w image, but being that there is no light black ink the lighter black may have a light tinge of green in it. If your printing for yourself it might be OK & the ink is only dye based. So if you're selling the prints as professional & archival I recommend the Epson p700 that has 2 additional shades of grey & pigment archival ink. follow the link: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1558223-REG/epson_c11ch38201_surecolor_p700_standard_edition.html
