Q: 1. Can I attached 72mm B+W XS Pro Variable ND to the 72mm adapter ring? Does it fits?

A: Tilta states that Variable ND filters can be too thick to fit in this way. It is not recommended.

Q: 2. If I own a Tamron lens with a 67mm diameter and a B+W 82mm variable ND Filter (w/ correct step up ring 67to82), will I be able to use my variable ND filter at the same time with this matte box?

A: No, the filter you have will not work with this Tilta matte box. If you need an ND filter, look into the rectangular (4x5.65) size filters.

Q: 3. Can it be used in combination with a 77mm lens and 77mm Newer VND?

A: This will depend on the thickness of the Variable ND and is not something we recommend. It may or may not work on a case by case basis.

Q: 4. Does this support 150mm x 100mm filters?

A: Unfortunately it doesn't. You would need a bigger matte box to fit a 150mm x 100mm filter.

Q: 5. can I use this with the Meike 35mm T2.1 FF-Prime Cine Lens?

A: The Meike 35mm T2.1 FF-Prime Cine Lens has an 82mm thread and would work fine with the 82mm adapter that comes with the Tilta Tiltaing Mini Matte Box.

Q: 6. I'm considering getting this for use with my Panasonic UX-90. Is there enough clearance over the matte box for the overhang of the built-in mic/handle?

A: We are not aware of this being able to work with the UX90. The only option for a hood we are aware of is the one it comes with. Using screw on filters is the better option over a matte box. The camera is not designed for a matte box.

A: The Tiltaing Mini Matte Box is 150 x 120 x 40mm. It weighs 140g.

Q: 8. I know the canon ef-s 17-55mm has a 77mm thread. Would it be fine with that lens?

A: Since the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens has a 77mm filter thread, you can use the Tiltaing Mini Matte Box's 77mm adapter ring to make the two compatible.

Q: 9. Can you use the Tiffen 77mm Variable Neutral Density Filter with, for example a rokinon 24mm lens and this matte box??

A: Unfortunately the Tiffen 77mm Variable neutral density doesn't offer threading in the front of the filter to screw in the 77mm adapter ring provided by Tilta for attachment to the matte box.
