A: Yes it is able to work with any tripod. That being said how you mount the slider will affect your experience. For example: We typically do not recommend mounting this slider to a single lightweight tripod. Lightweight tripods are more likely to tip over when the weight of the camera gets to the ends of the slider. This can be solved by either using a heavier tripod or adding weights to lightweight tripods. Ideally it is best to use 2 tripods or light stands (1 at both ends) to get the most stable performance.
