A: The receiver inside the YN200 can only be triggered by the Yongnuo YN560-TX II, RF603 and RF605 wireless flash triggers.

A: I can't say whether or not it can be used on a polarizer, but there is nothing in the literature accompanying this item that suggests that it should not be used on a polarizer.
