Q: 1. so basically the lens turns into a manual apperture, that is cool but:Does the metering in the camera still working ok when adapting a lense?does it has any quality lose while using the adapter?what about when taking still pictures? Does the shutter speed still working properly?

A: The metabones prevents the camera from communicating with the lens.So no, the camera doesn't tell you the aperture reading and will always read as 0. Therefore, you always have to use other means (zebras) to not over expose. You also can't achieve a desired aperture to control DOF (such as 2.8) because, again, the camera can't report the aperture.I haven't taken still pictures so I'm not sure how this affects that mode.

Q: 2. Work with the 70-200 f4 as well?

A: No, the Wimberley AP-611 Quick Release Replacement Foot for Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS, B&H # WIRLFS70200, is not compatible for use with the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS Lens. Instead, the Wimberley AP-616 Replacement Foot for Sony FE 600 f/4 GM OSS, B&H # WIAP616, would be the correct Wimberley replacement foot designed for use with the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS Lens.

Q: 3. I have lenses for my Panasonic gh4 and I am buying a Canon ef blackmagic. I have scoured the Internet for a converter that would work for this. No luck. Any leads?

A: The answer depends entirely on the specific camera you wish to use. In order that we may better assist you, please write us with further detail. provideo@bhphoto.com.

Q: 4. Will this adapter retain exif LENS data? even just what lens is mounted? I know AF is out of the picture, but I don't see anything regarding exif data.

A: yes you get full EXIF info with this adapter, AF is slow.

Q: 5. can I use my vintage Nikkor p auto lenses with these adapter?

A: If the Nikkor P lens has a bayonet F mount, it will fit the Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter. One cannot guarantee manual focusing ability.

Q: 6. Is this the proper adapter for mounting the AF-S Micro-Nikkor F2.8G ED lens on the Sony A7 camera...?

A: The Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter would be the correct adapter to connect the Nikon AF-S Micro-Nikkor f/2.8G ED lens to the E-mount on the Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera. (The lens focal number was not listed above, but if it is a Nikon f/2.8G lens as you indicate, it would be the correct adapter).

Q: 7. How to adapt it to Manfrotto MVH500 head ?

A: You may use the Kirk QR-AB1QR Universal Quick Release Adapter with Quick Release Clamp, B&H # KIQRAB1QR which will convert your MVH500 to an Arca compatible clamp system. https://bhpho.to/2XvBJFt

Q: 8. I recently purchased a Sony a6000 and would like an e-mount adapter for my Nikon lenses. I have a Nikkor 18-200 1:3.5-5.6 G ED DX lens (no aperture ring) and a Nikkor 70-200 1:28 G ED lens (no aperture ring) as well as a Micro Nikkor 200 m 1:4 D lens (with aperture ring) and a Nikkor 1:2.8 D 20mm (with aperture ring). Is there an adapter that will accommodate both types of lenses? Which adapters would you recommend for these lenses?

A: Since not all of your lenses are G lenses, I would not advise you to use this particular Nikon F mount to Sony E mount adapter. I suggest the Voigtlander adapter, which will enable to use the manual aperture ring on the 200mm f/1.4D lens, and will enable to you to control the aperture speed of your G lenses through the camera body. Please note however, that automatic lens functions will not be retained with the use of this adapter, such as autofocus or auto exposure: http://bhpho.to/1jwxfRW

Q: 9. Will this work with the Sony a6000?

A: I have the Sony a7rII but I just checked around and on another site someone asked if this was compatible with the Sony a6000 and the answer was yes.

Q: 10. Do the numbers on the adapter correspond to the lens accurate f stops?

A: No they don't. When the Metabones adapter is installed, it overrides whatever f-stop you might set on the lens. In other words the Metabones adapter takes complete control of aperture. The numbers on the adapter range from F (for full wide open, I guess) through 1-6 to 7 which is fully stopped down. One can guess that halfway through the range from F to 7 might correspond with a mid-range lens aperture of about f8 or so, depending on the aperture range of the lens one is working with.
