The VS Studio Violin, Viola, and Mandolin Microphone from AMT is a professional violin / viola microphone system that combines the VS microphone with the AP40 preamplifier. The AMT VS microphone is an ultra-miniature cardioid microphone. The microphone features a clamp and arm system for perfect positioning over the sound hole. The AP40 preamplifier converts the microphones to low impedance, it regulates the voltage to each microphone, and with certain models creates a specific frequency curve. The combination results in pristine reproduction of violin / viola in recording applications and sound reinforcement applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How does this flash compare to the Yongnuo YN-568EX Speedlite for Nikon Cameras?

A: The Yongnuo YN-568EX Speedlite for Nikon Cameras would be the stronger of the two flashes in terms of output power. It also has a wider manual output range from 1/1 full-power down to 1/128th output power (the Bolt VS-560N Wireless TTL Flash for Nikon goes down to 1/64th minimum output power). When using i-TTL automatic flash output, the Yongnuo flash has a wider -5 EV to +5 EV flash compensation range (in 1/3 EV steps), compared to Bolt's -3 EV to +3 EV flash compensation range (in 1/3 EV steps). The Yongnuo flash has a 2.5mm sub-miniphone sync terminal, while the Bolt uses the standard PC sync terminal. The Yongnuo flash has an estimated 3 second recycle time when using full batteries, while the Bolts flash recycle time can be up to approximately 9 seconds. The Bolt flash would be both smaller and lighter compared to the larger, heavier Yongnuo flash.

Q: 2. Does this work for a Canon 6D?

A: I have a 3 Ti. Therefore dlo not know if works with s 6DSorry

Q: 3. would this work with the sony a7ii? what is the trigger voltage of it?

A: No, the flash does trigger but the TTL is not functioning properly.

Q: 4. Does this work with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i?

A: I don't know, I have Nikons, sorry :(

Q: 5. Does this flash work effectively as a wireless slave using a 600 ex-rt as the Master unit?

A: Yes, however note that it would not be compatible with the radio transmissions form the 600EX RT. The 600EX RT flash in this instance would need to be set to be used as an optical/Infrared transmitter in order to trigger this flash wirelessly.

Q: 6. Will this work with the Sony A77?

A: Yes, this flash is fully compatible with the Sony A77 camera.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with my Nikon D3200?

A: This flash is fully compatible with the Nikon D3200.

Q: 8. Will this work with a Sony A7r?

A: Yes it will, all functions are supported.

Q: 9. I want to be able to use this flash off-camera. I have a Sony a57. What, if any, extra accessory do I need?

A: The flash is compatible to work with the Sony A57 off camera. You do not need any other items. Note It uses infrared signals to control the off camera flash, that it is line of site and outside in very bright light the flash might not see that signal. You will need a stand and bracket to hold the flash off camera. This is a kit with a bracket, stand and umbrella,Impact Zack Arias OneLight Accessory KitB&H # IMZALK Mfr # ZA-LKhttp://bhpho.to/1qDPRIYAnd this is the links if you just want a stand and bracket, http://bhpho.to/1jwU7ql and http://bhpho.to/18tPisN.

Q: 10. Is this wireless flash compatible with the New Nikon D500 without having to buy Nikon WR 10/ WR T10/WR A10 wireless adaptor set?

A: The WR10/WRT10/WRa10 will not help any flash other than the SB5000. It acts as a radio transmitter to communicate with the SB5000 only and only on the D5 and D500. This flash, the Bolt 560N is an infrared wireless flash. It will need either another flash that has wireless TTL master capability or an infrared transmitter such as Vello FWIRC-N to trigger it. Alternatively, you can use an external radio trigger system with a transmitter on camera and a receiver underneath the flash.
