In 1959, The Screen Works, then known as Wilcox-Lange, began as an equipment and labor support company to the fledgling new industry of Audio Visual. Identifying a need for portable projection screens for the "traveling shows", the company began manufacturing their E-Z Fold brand of screens.

Since each show was unique, custom screen designs, shapes and new format sizes became a necessity. As the industry quickly grew, so did Wilcox-Lange, which became The Screen Works, a worldwide supplier of lightweight, portable, affordable projection screens and trim kits.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can it be used with smaller mirrorless cameras such as Sony A5100 and A6000 with all variants of sony lenses? Because the gap between the base plate and matte box looks a bit excess for those models. Also can we mount any entry level monitors on this?

A: Yes, the following shoulder rig mount will support both DSLR or mirrorless camera

Q: 2. is Metabones Nikon G compatibel with nikon 200-400mm lens?

A: Yes. It will work with any Nikon lens -- older lenses with aperter rings and newer G lenses which have no aperture ring. With G lenses you set the aperture on the adapter.

Q: 3. How do you install it? I put it on the lens but it won't click secure/tight.

A: There is nothing special about it. It connects to the camera like any Sony lens, and the lens connects to it like any Nikon lens connects to a Nikon camera.

Q: 4. so with this adapter I can connect my Nikon lenses to my gh4, but how can I change my aperture since the lense is not the native lense?

A: Aperture is changed manually by turning the aperture ring on the adapter.

Q: 5. Can you control the aperture of a pc-e lens? Is there any solution?

A: The aperture is control by the manual iris ring on the meta bones. I believe there are seven stops to close down. The aperture will NOT be controlled by the camera body.

Q: 6. My lens is nikon dx af-s nikkor 35mm 1:1,8 G, but the spec about the Photografy camera say ... Nikon F mount with AF contacts..., and the you prospect say The matte black Nikon G Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter from Metabones allows you to attach a Nikon F-mount G lens to a Sony NEX camera, I bought this model, is there any problem of damaging the contacts lens in question( nikon dx af-s nikkor 35mm 1:1,8 G) because I'm able to mount the lens on the adapter. Ednelson

A: The above Metabones Nikon G Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter is designed to allow you to connect the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens to Micro Four Thirds mount cameras. It is not compatible with Sony NEX cameras. If you need to connect the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX Lens to a Sony NEX E-mount camera, you would need to purchase the Metabones Nikon G Lens to Sony NEX Camera Lens Mount Adapter (Matte Black), B&H # MENFGEBM1.

Q: 7. What's the outcome of using this adapter with Nikon DX lenses on my Sony A7s both in aps-c mode and full frame?

A: In APS-C crop mode, the image would have a 1.5x crop inside the camera, having the same view as if used on an APS-C camera. If used in full-frame mode, as DX lenses are designed for the smaller image sensor, it would have a black rounded vignette in the corner of the image where no light from the rear of the lens reaches the full-frame A7s sensor.

Q: 8. Are there any known image issues with using this product to connect a Sony A7S with full-frame Nikon lenses? I'm especially concerned with image clarity and vignetting when using Nikon AF NIKKOR 20mm f/2.8D and Nikon Fisheye AF Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D Autofocus on A7S' full-frame non-crop mode.

A: At this time we have not had any reports referring to vignette with wide lenses, the adapter and camera combination.

Q: 9. Is there a crop factor with this adapter? In other words, if I use my Nikor 50mm 1.2, is it going to be a 50mm on a Sony FS7 or F5?thx M

A: Crop here wont be a factor of the Metabones adapter. Both the Sony FS7 and F5 are super 35mm cameras, which have roughly the same size sensor as an APS-C size sensor camera. So, In terms of DSLRs, there would be a crop factor of 1.5X. Any 50mm lens shot on these cameras would have an angle of view roughly equivalent to a 75mm lens shot on a full frame camera. While there are adapters that can help compensate for this (such as the Speed Boosters), this adapter is a normal adapter and will not have an effect on crop factor. That being said, as others have posted, if you use the adapter with full frame lenses on a full frame camera (such as the a7 series), there shouldnt be vignetting.

Q: 10. Will this adapter work with Sony a5000?

A: I am using it on a Sony a6000 and it works great. So I would guess it should be fine on the a5000
