Photographer's Formulary DiXactol Ultra Film Developer is a unique developer of special interest to artists and photographers producing monochrome fine prints, yet it is also uniquely tolerant and easy to use. It has four main distinguishing characteristics.

It produces the fullest palette of richly graduated tones, especially in the holding of translucent and delicately drawn highlights particularly resistant to "blocking up" at high exposure levels.

At the same time, shadow detail and separation is nursed up to unusual levels. A: it is very difficult to get negatives to go from the scanner to my computer. i even sent an email to braun, to ask for help, as sometimes the scan worked and sometimes it didnt, and got back from braun a not so helpful email. i also put in a sd memory card and the scanner rejected it. i asked braun why? their answer was try another sd memory card. braun must think im loaded, as i spent $20 for the scan card. wish i purchased a different scanner, just for the poor customer service provided by braun

A: The scanner will can 120 negative film (color or black & white) as well as transparencies it outputs the file in JPEG format and of course you may edit the file in Photoshop, Lightroom as well as other photo editors. The Braun scanner is the only 120 scanner I have used and I'm quite happy with it.
