A: Yes, you can mount your Nikon F-mount G lenses on Sony cameras with the correct lens adapter. As for the flash you can use the Nikon SB 900 flash on M-mode. Please be aware that Metada and electronic comunication would be limited using off brand lenses and flash.

For videos at 30p, does the Crop Factor remain at 1.5 or is it 1.5X1.2=1.8? My reason for looking into the A7C is to have a full frame backup body and to also have a lighter weight body with APS-C lenses for the occasional videos. Since I already own APS-C lenses, A7C seems a good choice.

A: When using APS-C lenses on the Sony a7C Mirrorless Camera one can shoot UHD 30p video in 1.5x crop mode.

Q: 8. I read that the case has plastic panels in the sides to make it stronger. Is the bottom reinforced at all?

A: Yes. Both the top and bottom have thick, built-in rigid panels for stability and protection. There are similar L-shaped rigid panels that must be placed in the sides by the purchaser. Thus all surfaces all around are rigid and protected. (I have not owned this item very long, thus haven't tested it fully loaded yet.)

A: The A7C 28-60mm kit comes new in the box packaged together; they are not shipped/boxed separately, and there is no tape sealing either the box or the contents inside. The box prominently displays the name of the camera and the lens included inside on multiple sides, as well as box contents on one side, and serial number/UPC barcode on the other.

Q: 10. Does the A7C shoot 10 fps in silent mode, or conventional mode?

A: Sony A7c does have the ability to shoot 10fps in the silent shooting mode. The Sony A7C unit can also shoot continuously at up to 8fps in live view mode without any blackout.
