The Low-Voltage Distribution Board from FSR is a remote power solution for the FSR IT-USB-CHRG, SS-USB-CHRG and IPS-D717S DC powered USB chargers. It consists of a rack-mounted board to remotely power up to six DC powered USB chargers and a power supply with an AC power cord. The unit provides a means of neatly distributing USB power from an included singlepower supply, eliminating the need for multiple AC wall adapters and messy overloaded power strips.

A: This is sold as a single, active self-amplified speaker. A passive companion speaker is available as a separate purchase: OWI Inc. 4Ω 6.5" Passive Surface Mount Cabinet Speaker (White) B&H # OWP602W
Q: 3. Is this USB 3.1 Gen 2 or Gen 1?
A: USB-C 3.1, gen 1
Q: 4. Why not charge battery/power the camera directly into the USB-C port on the camera? What am I missing here?
A: The Leica SL3 Mirrorless Camera cannot be powered from the USB-C port. You need the Leica DC-SCL6 USB-C DC-Coupler to power the camera with a USB battery pack or AC power with an adapter.
Q: 5. Can this cable be used with a Logitech MeetUP 2 conference camera?
A: The FSR USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 Digital Ribbon Cable (32.8'), B&H # FSDRC3110M is compatible with the Logitech MeetUp 2.
Q: 6. Are there standard 5.25 inch drive bays that I could install in my PC case that will read these SSD Mini's? If there was a SATA connection drive bay that I could install to read these SSD Mini's it would make my life a lot easier than having to sit the docking station on top of my chassis all the time.
A: Don't buy... They burn out. I had the same experience with 2 units. The third party options have been pretty reliable.
Q: 7. Is it faster than usb3.0?
A: The 3.1 is about 10% (NOT 10X) faster on sequential reads and sequential writes (the most meaningful measure if you're using best practices -- a freshly formatted disk to write then later read video files). For random reads/writes using high queue with high thread count, the numerical differences were meaningful (but may not show in practice for video work) and for random reads/writes using low queue and low thread count, a marginal difference is seen. Details follow. I ran CrystalDiskMark 7.0 using the same SSD (a Samsung EVO 850 480GB) with each dock (the ATOMDCK003 --USB A 3.0 and ATOMDCK004 --USB C 3.1) plugged directly into my HP Spectre laptop native ports. I used default settings, which produce 8 results (2 sequential read, 2 random read, 2 sequential write and 2 random write results, average of 5 tests for each result and using 1 GiB file size). The 3.1 was slightly faster on sequential reads and sequential writes -- 464 (8 queues, 1 thread) and 443 MB/s (1 queue, 1 thread) compared to 426 and 422 MB/s read speeds, and 465 (8 queues, 1 thread) and 438 MB/s (1 queues, 1 thread) compared to 431 and 429 MB/s write speeds. For random reads/writes using high queue with high thread count, -- 127 MB/s read vs. 24 MB/s -- call that a factor of 5, and 90 vs. 40 MB/s write speeds -- a bit more than a factor of 2 (32 queues, 16 threads for those numbers). For random reads and writes with 1 queue and 1 thread, the numbers were only marginally better for the 3.1 compared to the 3.0 (24 vs 22 read and 33 vs 27 write).
Q: 8. Will this be compatible with the original Leica SL typ 601?
A: Yes, Leica DC-SCL6 USB-C DC-Coupler is compatible with Leica SL (Typ 601) Mirrorless Digital Camera.
Q: 9. Can use this with a Dtap port from a camera battery using a Dtap to 4pin hirose adapter?
A: It should work with your camera if you have a cable like the CAMVATE D-Tap to 4-Pin Hirose Cable (B&H # CAC2379).
Q: 10. Good morning! Are the SL2 batteries compatible with the SL3???
A: Yes, the Leica BP-SCL4 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (8.4V, 1860mAh) is compatible with the Leica SL3 Mirrorless Camera.
