Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it take a 9mm shaft? (Hate to be picky.)

A: The Manfrotto 026 Lite-Tite Swivel Umbrella Adapter will only accept an umbrella shaft up to 8mm.

Q: 2. Will D-Lite RX 4/4 work with Nikon D7500 and Sony A7?

A: Only with the dedicated Transmitters for each particular brand

Q: 3. Is it right that it has an additional slot for bigger umbrella shafts? I want to use it with the Westcott Mega JS Apollo 50''x50''.

A: Yes it Does but is really flimsy/bad design

Q: 4. Can the power output be controlled remotely? I want to mount this about ten feet high so I don't want to have to lower it to adjust the output.

A: Yes, the power can be controlled by the Skyport Transmitter.

Q: 5. does the guaranty covers/applies to mexico?

A: As long as the purchase was from B&H, it applies. However any warranty work will have to be performed by MAC Group in New York.

Q: 6. Does this work with the hot shoe on Fujifilm X-T2?

A: The El-skyports are pretty universal. I've used them with my 5D and my Panasonic G7 without problem.

Q: 7. I had previously ordered this and it came with an EL-Skyport Speed Transmitter. Does it still include this remote trigger?

A: Unfortunately, a transmitter is not included with the Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head. A compatible option is the Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus, BH # ELSTP. https://bhpho.to/3c95qbf

Q: 8. Is this compatible with a Sekonic Litemaster Pro L-478DR using its own Pocketwizard transmitter? If not, can Pocketwizard receivers be connected to them to work?

A: If you are referring to the Sekonic LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U-EL Series Light Meter for Elinchrom EL Skyport System, B&H # SEL478DRELU, then it would be fully compatible for use with the Elinchrom D-Lite RX 4/4 Softbox To Go Kit as packaged. If you instead own the Sekonic LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U Light Meter for PocketWizard System, B&H # SEL478DRU, it would not be directly compatible for use with the Elinchrom D-Lite RX 4/4 Softbox To Go Kit. However, you may use the Sekonic LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U Light Meter for PocketWizard System with the light kit by connecting the included Elinchrom EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus (B&H # ELSTP) to the synchro terminal on the bottom of the light meter with the Metz 36-50 Standard Sync Cord, B&H # ME5548. When you press the MEASURE button on the meter, it will trigger the transmitter connected via the cable and trigger your lights. If If you are using PocketWizard remotes with the Sekonic LiteMaster Pro L-478DR-U Light Meter for PocketWizard System and the light kit, the light meter will communicate directly with the PocketWizard remotes. However, you will have to connect the PocketWizard remotes to the Elinchrom monolight strobes via the 1/8 (3.5mm) sync terminal on the rear of the monolights via the PC sync cables included with the PocketWizard remotes. The PocketWizard remotes are not directly compatible with the Elinchrom Skyport receivers built into the light fixture, so they have to be connected via the sync cable. If you do not have a sync cable, the PocketWizard PC1N Locking PC Sync Cable (1'), B&H # WIPC1NPC, would work for your usage needs.

Q: 9. Will these flashes work on the Panasonic GH5?

A: These flashes will work with a Panasonic GH5.

Q: 10. Hi. What is the GN for this strobe? I am looking to get a few for studio assignments which requires F8-F13 apertures.? I have a phottix Luna beauty dish i wish to mount on this strobe, is there a mount converter for it? what is the syn cable supplied: 3.5mm - PC? I'm using a pentax K3 so will have to sync using cable with RF603CII, will it work? Thanks in advance.

A: I don't remember the GN off hand, but it will most definitely handle the apertures you are mentioning. It's very powerful! You can get conversion mounts for it either at b&h or most definitely amazon. the sync cable supplied is what you also mentioned. but I'm not sure about the rf603cII. I use radio remote triggers (pocket wizards)
