Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is the lens constant at f4?

A: If the question is: Does the lens open to f4 at all focal lengths, the answer isYES.

Q: 2. Does it come with a warranty for service in the U.S.?

A: Yes; the Nikon D750 DSLR camera comes with a 1-Year Limited Warranty from Nikon USA, valid in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Nikon has two repair centers in the United States for DSLR cameras, one in Melville, New York, and one in Los Angeles California.

Q: 3. does it have composite video out?

A: It has HDMI video out.

Q: 4. Is it True when buying the Nikon D750 DSLR Camera with 24-120mm Lens you'll receive four Free items ? ( SD card , Camera Bag , Battery , shutter release. )

A: This all depends on what kit you buy, the base kit comes with the SD card, battery and bag, whereas the basic kit has the SD card, battery, bag, shutter release, glass lcd protector

Q: 5. Is this an import? Is this a USA MARKET warrantied product?

A: In situations where B&H offers both a USA and an imported version of a product, we label each version clearly and explicitly. If a product does not have an indication either way, it is understood to be by default a USA product. In situations where only a USA version is offered it will not be labeled USA.

Q: 6. I have been using my d750 and my collection of nikon vibration reduction and third party lenses for photography, but recently i have been getting into more cinematography and video stuff. Considering getting a gh4 and using an adapter to mount my collection of nikon-mount lenses on it, but that is a costly option and i am not sure if the lenses' vibration reduction will work with the adapted gh4. What kind of video output does the d750 have with hdmi? Is it feasable to look for an external recorder that perhaps can capture better codec/color depth/quality than the camera's internal video capturing?

A: Internally i know it records at 24mbps. If you plan to use it for video i would suggest installing a custom flat profile that is better then the one the camera has. then while recording use an external recorder. the quality is awesome no doubt but the vr wont work on the gh4 as to my knowledge.

Q: 7. Does this camera model have just one card slot?

A: It has two (2) slots and you can specify what function it can have, backup or overflow. I use it as a backup for raw files for important events, overflow when I go on trips and don't want to transfer files or at family functions I save the raw in slot 1 and jpegs in slot 2.

Q: 8. I have the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm 1:1.8 G lens will this work on the D750? I currently have the D5300. Thanks?

A: The AF-S 85mm f/1.8G lens will be fully compatible with the D750, yes.

Q: 9. Does the Nikon D750 have a dedicated AF-Lock button? My D7000 does not have this and it is a nuisance to have to go to menu and select out of the control medium the AF-L mode and then to have to remember to go back and turn it off.thanks

A: There are several buttons that can be set to use for AF lock. I have the AE-L/AF-L button on the back set for AF-L ONLY and use that button for back button focus. Setting this button to AF-L ONLY automatically turns OFF the shutter button for AF.

Q: 10. Does the D750 have a OLPF or not? I have a D800 and highly regret not buying the D800e. The OLPF does cause a significant loss of detail on long shot tele subjects.

A: True, the OLPF will cause a loss of detail. But, this is difficult to observe in practical usage. I have found that this blurring is often beneficial. The focal length of the lens has no effect on the degree to which the OLPF blurs the image. How many line-pairs-per-mm are you looking for in resolution?
