Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the GT3543LS include a set of regular rubber feet or just the articulating feet?

A: These Gitzo Tripods comes fitted with the big articulating feet. However, this can be replaced with the included regular rubber feet. This regular feet comes together with the tripod. However the spiked feet does not and must be purchased separately.

Q: 2. Can the articulating feet that come with this be removed and replaced with the old style runner feet that used to come on earlier versions of this tripod, or can they only be replaced with the spiked feet?

A: The tripod comes packaged with the older style feet and they can replace the articulating feet. Unfortunately the product description does not state this, but you do get the regular tripod feet with it.

Q: 3. Do the legs have water or weather resistant seals?

A: The Benro Self-Adjusting Twist Locks are designed for comfortable, rapid operation, while also providing excellent dust and all-weather resistance.

Q: 4. Does the RRS ball head BH-40 fit the Gitzo GT3542L tripod leg?

A: Yes RRS ball head BH-40 does fit the Gitzo GT3542L tripod leg.

Q: 5. Can I use in water? ie. streams and ocean

A: You can use this tripod in streams, I would not recommend salt water, regardless, you will have to take it apart after use and clean and dry the inserts (shims) and twist knobs.

Q: 6. What is the thread size on short column and what is the material of the column itself, Aluminum or Carbon ?

A: The thread size is 3/8" and it is carbon fiber.

Q: 7. can the center column be used to hang the camera upside down for super low angle?

A: The center column is reversible, so you can reverse it and use your camera in an upside down position. From the Benro website, I also found the following answer to a question asking if it is possible to remove the center column to place the camera close to the ground: Yes, but you will need to use one of the Benro Extra Low Columns in its place. These accessories are only 4.7 long, and will permit the tripod to be set to a very low height.

Q: 8. Hello. can this be used on a DSLR camera? or is it just for small cameras?

A: It's strong enough to support a DSLR + lens combination of up to 11lbs (but I'd recommend not going above 6lbs), but because of its higher center of gravity at max height, it might be a little hard to stabilize. I'd recommend using the tripod with a wider leg angle and I would avoid using the center column that comes with it.

Q: 9. How would the Gitzo GIGH5380S ball head work with the GT3542 tripod for bird photography with a canon 100-400 lens on a 5D mark 3?

A: I use a Wimberly head on this tripod for bird photography with both the Cannon 100 to 400 lens and the Cannon 600mm lens. I find it is much easier to stay on a bird with the Wimberly head that the Gitzo ball head that I previously used. The balance is much better.

Q: 10. What is height with only 3 of the four leg sections extended (with the lowest section collapsed) and the center column not extended?

A: This system has a Max Height without the Center Column 60.2 inches. You will be able to adjust it as you see fit from the minimum working height of 14 inches to 60.2 inches without the center column.
