The lens worked absolutely flawless with an older Canon ti4 for which I actually bought the lens anyway as my light travel outfit.As to the lens itself, one has to remember the enormous zoom range when making any judgement or comparison to other lenses in regard to sharpness, distortion and other qualities. For the convenience of such zoom range, the optical performance of this lens is surprising. After recalibration at the factory, my lens shows decent sharpness at minimum distortions. Only the C/A is annoyingly strong and always requires editing. But at least I have my action shot with this lens range, which I would have otherwise lost while having to change lenses.
