Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can these macro tubes be attached to a Metabones adapter? I'm shooting using Canon glass on a Sony E-mount camera via a Metabones adapter.

A: Technically yes you can use these on the front end of the metabones adapter, but you will not have the ability to use auto focus, it will only be manual focus.

Q: 2. Are these tubes made of metal or plastic ? My thanks to you in advance.

A: The tube itself is plastic, but high quality. The coupling surface, the surface that comes in contact with your camera and lense, is metal. The complete set appears to be of very high quality and if you need extension tubes, I can recommend this set.

Q: 3. Will these work well with the 35mm 1.4G N and D750 body?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG (12, 20 & 36mm Tubes) for Nikon Digital and Film Cameras, should work well with the 35mm f1.4G N lens and the Nikon D750 body.

Q: 4. I'm using a Nikon D300 and want to use my Nikon 50mm f/1.8. Nikon's website states I can use the extension tube with the lens and still retain the camera auto adjusting except for the Fstop which will be controlled by the lens aperture ring. Will this communicate with my D300?

A: You can use this with manual focus, D type and AF-S Lenses on the D300 with metering. G type lenses cannot be used as they have no manual aperture adjustment.

Q: 5. will a MK III with a 100 mm Macro lose anything off of its full frame capability? and how many f stops will you lose when using all 3 stacked?

A: The extension tubes do not affect the full frame aspect of the camera nor will you lose any f stops. However, the depth of field will start to decrease dramatically as you stack the extension tubes together. You may have to shoot with a tripod or a ring flash of some type if using all three to prevent blur unless you have a very, very steady hand.

Q: 6. Will these work with a Tamron 99mm lens?

A: I used them with a 100mm Canon macro.I used them individually and al together and they worked superbly. I presume as long as the the mount suits your tamron lens should work just as well.

Q: 7. Id like to use this with a 50mm f 1.8 E series lens mounted on a D7100, would I have to change the non cpu information in the camera? and if so how would you calculate it?

A: I've used it on a D610 to shoot RAW's of color transparencies, and did not change anything significant. Everything looked good.

Q: 8. What is the difference between DG and older non DG?

A: DG helps you with electronic pass through info , for aperture control and autofocus

Q: 9. Are these compatible with Nikon D-series lenses?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Nikon Lens will work with D series lenses but they will not autofocus.

Q: 10. I have the non-DG set. What does the DG upgrade do - functionally? The upgraded chip means nothing to me.

A: I have the Kenko DG set, and they provide auto-focus and auto-exposure with my Nikon D90 & D7100, along with Nikkor lenses. Each one of the extension tubes are equipped with the electronic contacts to convey data from the lenses to the camera and back. I have been completely satisfied with them.
