Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Based on the compatibility list, I take it that these extension tubes are not compatible with any RF-S lenses. Is this correct?

A: Yes, the Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set for Canon RF Lenses is also compatible with all Canon RF-S lens series.

Q: 2. Will these extensions work with Nikon 105mm VR lens?Thank you

A: Yes, they are fully compatible.

Q: 3. Why is there a limit to shoot at f/5.6 or f/8 and not f/22, f/16 or f/32? I use a Canon EOS 70D with Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens. I am planing to buy the Bolt VM-160 LED Macro Ring Light. Will this help or what, please answer in detail.

A: Using extension tubes reduces the amount of light entering the camera, requiring wider and wider apertures as the extension gets longer. HOWEVER, macro photographers typically use flash, thereby permitting the use of narrower apertures. In fact, depth of field is so shallow in macro photography that macro photographers do everything they can to shoot in the range of f.16. Extension tubes decrease not only light, but also depth of field, making the use of narrower apertures even more important. The Ugly Hedge Hog photography forum (strange name!) has an excellent macro photography section where plenty of good advice is freely offered. There is one thread devoted to photos of member's macro set ups, where you can get a good idea of types of flash used. You will likely be surprised that NONE of the good photographers there use a ring flash. Their experience is that ring flashes produce flat lighting. They almost all have do-it-yourself flash set ups that produce much better results.Good luck! Oh . . . the Kinko extension tubes work very well.

Q: 4. I have the non-DG set. What does the DG upgrade do - functionally? The upgraded chip means nothing to me.

A: I have the Kenko DG set, and they provide auto-focus and auto-exposure with my Nikon D90 & D7100, along with Nikkor lenses. Each one of the extension tubes are equipped with the electronic contacts to convey data from the lenses to the camera and back. I have been completely satisfied with them.

Q: 5. I have a 50mm 1.4D, and older 28-85 and 70-210 lens, all of them are screwdriver type AF. Will the product support AF in this case?

A: Extension accept AF.

Q: 6. Can these tubes be used on a canon 100 mm EF macro lens and then with an EF to RF adaptor on a Canon R5?

A: Yes, you are able to mount the combination (Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro with the Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG on the EF-RF adapter) onto an EOS R5 and it should function as expected.

Q: 7. Did this tube control aperture in the lens

A: With these tubes you will be able to control the aperture of the lenses on the control dials of your camera the way you normally do.

Q: 8. will a MK III with a 100 mm Macro lose anything off of its full frame capability? and how many f stops will you lose when using all 3 stacked?

A: The extension tubes do not affect the full frame aspect of the camera nor will you lose any f stops. However, the depth of field will start to decrease dramatically as you stack the extension tubes together. You may have to shoot with a tripod or a ring flash of some type if using all three to prevent blur unless you have a very, very steady hand.

Q: 9. Can these be used with the Nikon 2.0 teleconverter on a Nikon 80-400 zoom?

A: While they will mount, they are not designed to be used in conjunction with a teleconverter. Extension tubes reduce the close focus distance of a lens, while teleconverters multiply the focal length.

Q: 10. will these work well with the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Nikon Lens is compatible with the Nikon AF-S 18-105mm lens, and would be a good option for getting macro shots with the 18-105mm lens.
