The Arca Swiss Monoball Z1 dp with Flip-Lock Quick Release builds on the success and popularity of their B-series ball heads. Z-Series ball heads are just as elegant, and even more perfect. The size and weight of the ball heads have been significantly reduced. The ball and fastening are now assembled using a patented bayonet mount. This model is the "dp" version, which features double panning. This means that besides for the standard pan base at the bottom of the head you also get a second panning mechanism below the camera mount. A: The Arca-Swiss tripod/quick release system is more or less a universal quick release system for many different tripod manufacturers that do not use their own proprietary quick release system (e.g., Manfrotto). I advise the P0 ballhead with the classic quick release, as this quick release system will be adaptable to numerous heads.

Q: 4. Hello, I am wondering if the scale ring is fixed with main knob or it is rotatable separately from the main knob? My product has this situation, I don't know if its the manufactural problem

A: I just went and looked at mine and that scale ring is securely attached to the main body of the unit. When I release the small lock near it, the entire unit rotates, scale and all. If your scale pivots by itself, perhaps there is a setscrew on the underside you can tighten but otherwise, I'd think it is a manufacturing defect. The scale ring must move with the unit or it serves no purpose.
