Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where are these Kenko tubes made?

A: The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Nikon Lens are made from a hard plastic, with metal lens and camera mounts.

Q: 2. Hi, Will these tubes work with the mc-20 teleconverter to allow use on unsupported lens?

A: no , this will not work

Q: 3. How about using the extension tube while shooting at 200mm or more? Can it make a telephoto macro? Or it will work well at lower or wider focal length only?

A: These tubes will give you a shorter minimum focus distance, so it will be kind of like macro at somewhat of a distance. Not sure which 200mm lens you are using, but if you have a heavy monster, that might put a lot of stress on the mounts.

Q: 4. Hi, Can Panasonic Lumix 12-35mm zoom and / or 35 - 100mm lenses be used with the Kenko Extension Tubes ?Thank you.

A: Yes, the tubes are compatible with any Micro 4/3rds type lenses.

Q: 5. I have a 50mm 1.4F prime as well as the EF-S 15-85 IS. Will I be able to use them with both lenses? Will this enable me to take only Macro photos or help close in on objects at a distance too (like a tele converter)? Thanks in advance for your help.

A: Extension tubes are for macro photography and do not act in the same way as a teleconverter. The Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG for Canon EOS Lenses will work with the 50mm f/1.4 and 15-85mm lenses.

Q: 6. Does auto focus work with both ef-s and ef lenses, or ef lenses only?

A: It works with both ef-s and ef lenses

Q: 7. does this item work without vignetting on an a7r?

A: I use on Sony A99V it OK.

Q: 8. Should I buy E-mount or A-mount extension tubes for a Minolta 100mm Macro / LA-EA4 / a7II combo?

A: Since you are using a Minolta Maxxum 100mm Macro lens, it would be best to use this particular set of extension tubes when mounting to the A7 II with the LAEA4.

Q: 9. I purchased these from you already but have not used them yet. I am using both a Canon 7D and a Canon 1DX with the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens. How can I use these so that autofocus function is retained? Thank you.

A: The first thing to understand about macro photography, is using AF (when possible) is a convenience that will become more of a hindrance in the long run. The benefit of extension tubes, and also just a macro lens such as the Canon 100mm goes is that they allow for much closer focusing than with other common lenses. They get so close that the AF sensors in most cases are not able to decide on what the focus point is, and end up causing the camera's focusing sensors to hunt back and forth never coming into focus. The majority of macro photographers out there end up shooting in manual focus mode, and the better approach is to physically move the camera closer and further from the subject in small increments and manually tune the focusing till you get what you want.To answer your question directly, the Canon 100mm f2.8 L IS USM Macro lens has a minimum focusing distance of 1 foot (distance from sensor plane to the subject). Using the tubes will decrease this distance. Youll ultimately have to experiment with each tube and the lens to see what the tolerance of autofocusability will be.

Q: 10. Will the Kenko DG auto extension tube set work with the new Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8E zoom lens?

A: You shouldn't have any problems with this combination.
