(2) Once you scan an image (photo, document or film, including transparencies) you will send that image directly to a designated file on your computer. (3) This is a flatbed scanner. Thumb drives and USB connections are used to transfer images directly from your camera (not from flatbed scanners) to your computer, usually to an imaging program such as Lightroom or Photoshop. It is generally advisable to transfer images from the camera to a thumb drive and then upload from the thumb drive to your computer.

A: I am assuming the slides were taken by a Rolleflex or Rollecord camera. I have a number of slides taken more than 50 years ago with a Rollecord, and I was able to successfully scan them. The frames that come with the V600 don't specifically fit the slides, but I was able to mask the images manually using the Epson scanning software. It has been a few weeks and I can't spell out the details, sorry. If the slides are in bad condition, you may not be happy with the result, but sometimes the scanned images show unbelievable detail. The software that comes with the V600 is very capable, considering the price. I have done about a thousand black and white negatives taken between 70 and 90 years ago by a country school teacher with an old bellows Kodak camera having excellent quality and resolution that tell an amazing story.
