The ATM450 Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone from Audio-Technica is designed with a side-address capsule, allowing for easy placement and flexible positioning on percussion, guitar cabinets, piano, and similar applications. The cardioid polar pattern is effective in reducing off-axis noise and feedback, and the wide frequency response results in rich, natural detail. There is a low frequency roll-off switch for reducing low frequency ambiance and noise and a -10 dB Pad switch for providing additional headroom and minimizing noise caused by transient peaks. The package includes an isolation clamp, an adapter, a windscreen, and a soft protective pouch.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do you guys offer financing on this?

A: No, sorry. I'm cash/paypal only. Paul R.

Q: 2. Can you charge with portable charger or does it have to be wall outlet?

A: The battery this camcorder uses will require an AC outlet to charger it. We do have the GOAL ZERO Yeti 150 Portable Power Station with an AC connection you could use, BH #GOGZ22004. https://bhpho.to/2IFomvG

Q: 3. Unlike other major brands there are very few video tutorials. The one official tutorial by a JVC employee has such bad sound I can hardly understand what he's saying. Does anyone know a resource with tutorials on this product?

A: Sorry, I've been trying to figure it out on my own. If I find one I 'll post it.

Q: 4. can this be used to do web video broadcasting through usb cable?

A: Not directly, but if you use something like the UltraStudio Mini Recorder by Blackmagicdesign it will work. That's what I'm using and it works great. I use an HDMI cable from the camera to that box and a thunderbolt cable from the box to my Mac Book Pro.

Q: 5. Is there a delay setting to sync video with audio when inputting audio from a mixer that has some latency?

A: No, you would use your editing program to sync audio with video.

Q: 6. does it have an sdi output? if yes can it output 3g sdi and also, does it have a micro usb port?

A: I bought 5 of the JVC GY-HM170 and I love them but also have needed SDI output. The 170's do not have an SDI output like the more expensive 200's but I found a cheaper work around, I bought the DECIMATOR MD-HX Miniature HDMI/SDI Cross Converter with Scaling & Frame Rate Conversion (B&H # DEDDHX MFR # DD-HX) for $295 and it works great. It is still cheaper than buying a HM200 and the Decimator does more. I believe the 170's do have a micro USB port, but I have not needed that. Hope this helps.

Q: 7. Does the camera support clean hdmi out while using the menu options?

A: Yes for 1080p

Q: 8. Is the lens changeable? If yes, does it need adopter ?

A: The lens is fixed and thus not interchangeable. It is threaded for filters so you could probably add a lens to the fixed lens and obtain wider angle or telephoto that way.

Q: 9. Is the lens parfocal?

A: The lens, like all other auto focus fixed zoom lens camcorders, is not parfocal. It relies on the auto focus to maintain the focus while zooming.

Q: 10. Can I play 4K video recorded on the same camcorder?

A: You can play 4K video thae was recorded in the camcorder.
