A: I have not had a problem scaling anything from hdmi or hd-Sdi to either with these boxes. I have 20 of them. I have however had input issues with BM hardware and often have to try multiple versions of firmware for various option to work. Are you saying your matrix to decimator isnt showing up as an input in the MD-HX? Does it work going direct out to a monitor? Does the monitor give you the connection details?

A: Unfortunately I don't have this specific camera, but I have used many different HDMI sources and exported the audio with no problems out of the HD-SDI output. Sources include Canon C300, Canon C300MKii, PS4, GoPro Hero 3+, PC with NVIDIA 1070 GPU, and even a SCART to HDMI converter I use with vintage computers. Perhaps you should slo check that you have your camera set to output sound via the HDMI output.

A: I do technical support for Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor in the US. The MD-HX can remap audio channels to move incoming embedded audio from a pair to one or more outgoing pairs, including between groups. It cannot currently combine audio pairs to perform a mix-down.
