The Tiffen 86mm Coarse Thread CC20Y Yellow Filter is a color compensating (or color correction) filter for use when making color balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.

Yellow is the opposite of blue and can be used to reduce blue tones or casts within a scene or print. This yellow CC20 is more dense than a CC10 filter and less dense than a CC30 filter, and requires a 0.3 stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, then mounting to precision metal rings.

Q: 2. Will this 16-300mm for Canon work well with the Canon C100 mark II Dual Pixel Autofocus? Thanks!!

A: The Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens for Canon will be compatible with the C100 II, yes.

Q: 3. Nikon d7200

A: I don't seeyour question. However I own this lens and love it for a all around lens. the wide and long end are greater than others. I like it so much over my 18-200 nikon, which i just sold. Just as sharp and easy to use.

Q: 4. Does this Tamron 16-300mm + Viltrox EF-Nex iii adapter work well for recording video on Sony A6000?

A: The Tamron 16-300VC-PZD is a great walk-around lens for Canon or Nikon APS-crop bodies. You can hang it around your neck for hours at a time and you're ready for everything from bugs and flowers to elephants and cityscapes. You're even ready to copy pages out of somebody's photo album. It may not be the widest, or longest, or fastest, or quickest-focusing lens in your bag. But when you don't know what you'll encounter -- and you don't want to carry the bag -- this is the lens you'll reach for. (Tamron service is great when you drop it off a table, too.) Somebody else will have to tell you how well it works with a Viltrox adapter on a Sony, though. I've never tried that.

Q: 5. Will this lens auto focus with Nikon D3300?

A: The Tamron 16-300mm lens for Nikon will be fully compatible with the D3300, including autofocus.

Q: 6. Will it work with my Nikon D600?

A: According to Tamron lens specs and Nikon camera specs this lens is not compatible with the D600 due to the large (full frame) image sensor. Sorry.

Q: 7. Will this lens attached to a canon 70D shoot video? I have a 18-270 lens and I always get the lens not attached error when I try and use it to do video.

A: Yes it is fully compatible with the Canon 70D.

Q: 8. What telconverter s wiil work on this lens on a canon sl1

A: I have the Canon T3i and I use the Tamron-F AF Tele-converter. It works fantastic with my camera and my Tamron 16-300 mm lens. All auto focuses work. Some times you need to do the auto focus a few times as you zoom out for the auto to function at full zoom.

Q: 9. Will this lens work on a Nikon D60 and Nikon D5300? Any problems with focusing?

A: Yes, it does. As a matter of fact, I have this lens on a Nikon D5300 and I love it.

Q: 10. Will this work on the Nikon D80?

A: Yes, this lens is fully functional with the Nikon D80.
