Lightweight, compact and simple to set up, the TSN-PZ Camera Adapter for Kowa 88 and 77mm series spotting scopes allows you to use your scope as a long, powerful lens that will help you get that great wildlife or landscape shot you've always wanted. Unlike most digiscoping adapters, the TSN-PZ adapter attaches directly to the bodies of the scope and the camera (with a T ring, sold separately). It offers a focal length range from 680 to 1000mm, so you can zoom out to compose your shot, then zoom in for the photo.

This adapter is less complicated than most digiscoping rigs – simply attach it to the scope in lieu of an eyepiece, put on your T ring, and connect the assembly to the camera's lens mount. The rig is manually focused using the scope's rings.

Using this adapter requires a camera specific Kowa TSN-CM2 T mount, sold separately.

Q: 1. With D810 does the image cover the FF sensor or does it cause dark corners (vignetting)? If there is vignetting with D810, is D7200 a better camera? Thanks

A: It depends what you are mounting it on.. As a general rule a crop sensor camera will gine you full coverage over the full frame sensor camera.

Q: 7. If you remove the camera lens, and are solely using the spotting scope, how do you set aperture and f stop?

Q: 8. Can astro eyepieces be stacked on top of this?

A: The top part is configured for threaded T-rings(mount)

Q: 9. Does this impact the ability to use zoom eye pieces on spotting scope?

A: You can use zoom eyepieces that meet the diameter restrictions, however keep in mind you will be using manual focus at high focal lengths. Really need skill in manual focusing to make it work well.

Q: 10. Does the image produced fill the full camera detector - the full field of view? Or do you get a little circle image in the middle of the frame?

A: The selected eye piece focal length will determine the image circle and field of view projected to the camera sensor. A zoom eyepiece will allow you to optimize this.
