Pro Co Sound brings multi-tasking to their line of cables with Siamese Twin Cables. They are a unique combination of balanced audio and AC electrical power carried through the same cable assembly with individual shielded lines that prevent EMI/RFI from disturbing the audio signal. Its ingenious construction is extremely useful for providing power to self-powered, full-range, and bi-amplified loudspeaker systems from manufacturers like Turbosound, JBL, EON, EAW, Meyer, Mackie and others.

This design combination of balanced audio and AC electrical power flowing from a set of components aids in reducing cable snarls. Each cable has a fanout of connectors that provide enough reach for the lines to connect to the power and audio ports which may or may not be near each other. The cable ends are color-coded for easy identification and the cable body has a rugged jacket that protects the individual lines inside.

I've used this battery with the power-greedy semi-pro Sony 2100E and was excited by the stamina of the battery. I can only recommend it for using in all cameras with relatively high power demand. 5

This is my 5th battery and they all work perfectly! I'm still using NP-F950 and NP-F960 batteries from almost 10 years ago and they still hold a very good charge. I totally recommend this product. 5

I use this product with the HVR-HD1000U Things that are good: When in use with the above listed sony camcorder, camera will run around 6 hours of continuous usage. I use it sporadically during weddings and on average record around 3 hours. This battery gets down to around 40% after a 10 hour shoot, with around 3 hours of raw footage. Works out great. Things that are bad: I have to use the camera to charge my batteries, bear this in mind when I say the following: the only bad thing about these batteries is that they take the better part of 8 hours to charge up. Given their discharge time is about the same, its a trade I can live with. 5

I'm the Chief News Videographer for a small-market CBS/NBC duopoly, and we have a fleet of eleven Sony DSR-PD150s. Most of our batteries are the now out-of-production F960s, but we're replacing them with the F970s as the old ones are lost/broken.The run-time of either battery model is unheard of in the ENG business...the five-pound bricks we used on our Betacams and Doctors would last maybe 90 minutes, half that when using the camera light. With a F970, our PD150s get a solid 6-8 hours of real-world power-on time.We do use several Sony HVL-20DW2 camera lights, and we have issues with the batteries shutting themselves off. Like the previous reviewer stated, we have to put the batteries either on the Sony charger or on the camera for them to reset. My theory is the 10-20 watt power drain from the lights upsets the batteries' built-in computer.I've read complaints about how expensive the Sony batteries are, but we're only talking $105 for a battery that will power your camera for many hours.....in a news environment, it's wonderful not having to worry about batteries going dead. The old NiCad bricks were $300 or more each, and you always had to carry extras.....
