A finely machined plate for Arca-type quick release clamps.

The bottom edges are dovetailed for smoother loading and unloading from the clamp, as well as less abrasions.

The screws of the Novoflex plates work with both traditional flathead screwdrivers as well as 5/32" Allen wrenches.

Q=Plates use the special safety pin of the Q=Base, to prevent the plates from slipping out of the base.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I didn’t see Hasselblad listed as compatible on your site or on Smallrigs. Would this be compatible with a X2D and a 500cm?

A: The SmallRig MD4150 Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for AirTag is a genric plate. It can fit almost any camera. It also has a channel where the screw attaches allowing you to position it forwards and backwards under the camera. That makes it compatible with a wide array of cameras. It just requires the camera to have a 1/4" screw opening in the bottom. The X2D does have a 1/4" screw opening. The 500CM is 3/8" screw opening but many times it came with a bushing adapter that allows you to use 1/4" screws. If you need that bushing adapter we sell it here. https://bhpho.to/48rb3J5

Q: 2. Do you know the dimensions of this item? (WxHxL)

Q: 5. Is this useable on a 5dm3?

A: I use this on a d750 it is 1/4 thread and will work on all cameras that have a thread type like that ,,It works good for what I use it for , strong construction from anything from this company

Q: 6. Can I use that flip up element as a loop to hang my camera on a strap when it is off my monopod ???

A: If you're referring to the small loop that allows you to hand-tighten the plate to the camera...I wouldn't advise it. The screw is a direct connection to the camera and will most likely loosen as the camera swings on it. If you look at a mount designed for this, like the Peak Design PROdrive, you'll notice that it's got a rubber ring and what looks to be a split washer - minimizing possible twist and unscrewing. I'm sure there are other models that separate the connection point from the screw entirely so that full 360 degree spinning is possible without the screw loosening. The point is, those attachments are designer for leash carrying at the mount. This quick release plate is not. So while it might be possible to attach a strap to it - you'd risk it unscrewing through use and dropping your camera.

Q: 7. Does the plate have a 3/8 threaded hole at the bottom for use with a black rapid strap?

A: Yes, the plate has a 3/8 threaded hole for use with the black rapid strap.

Q: 8. Is this unit compatible with a Nikon Z8?

A: Yes, the SmallRig MD4150 Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for AirTag is compatible with the Nikon Z8.

Q: 9. Will this work with Canon 5D Mark II battery grip?

A: If you have the BG-E6 battery grip on the 5D II, you would want to go with the Kirk PZ-129 plate (B&H # KIPZ129).

Q: 10. Will this Kirk QR plate for Canon 7D mk II work with a RRS lever clamp?

A: Since both Kirk and RRS are Arca-compatible, they should work together without issue.
