A: I just spoke with Benro tech support who says the 75mm ball mount can be removed, so that the BV6 head can be flat mounted to a 3/8x16 connection. I want to use this head with my slider, which does not have a ball mount.

A: Although a Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base can fit the top of this Slik PRO DXShrt Tripod, the base of the head would overhang slightly.
