Good and solid construction like all OP/TECH products. These connectors worked perfectly for a custom strap system I engineered. I would not hesitate to purchase these again. 5

I got rid of the standard Nikon strap and bought several different Op/Tech traps. I mix & match them base on my application. These clips hang on D rings on the shoulder straps of my pack so the camera weight is on the pack straps not my neck. Much more comfortable after a long day of hiking. 5

These are not really necessary to use the utility strap but can be used for extra security or to fasten the camera to a belt loop when hiking or climbing so that the camera doesn't bump on your hip. If a picture is to be taken, the quick release feature detaches the camera from your belt very easily. I find that it is a nice feature to have under some circumstances. 5

I bought also with those, the Op/Tech Pro Strap 3/8 because I want a strap with clips so I can detach from my Nikon D810 and fix the camera with the Op/Tech Uni-Loop connector to my back pack ThinkTank StreetWalker HardDrive. It's perfect and easy to pass from camera strap to my back pack. 5
