The Porta Brace CTC-4 Traveler Camera Case (Black) is designed to carry a professional Mini-DV camcorder such as the Canon XL-2, the JVC-HD200, the Panasonic AG-DVC200, the Sony DSR-590 or other similar sized camcorders, as well as matte-boxes, batteries, and accessories. It is made from 1000-denier Cordura nylon with fully-padded protection for the camera and armored-plastic protection for the viewfinder. There are exterior and interior pockets for batteries, tapes, tripod plates, white balance cards, and accessories. It can be carried with the two overlapping padded handles, or the included shoulder strap.

Q: 1. How would an Arca Swiss D4 head pair with the 2545T?

A: The Arca-Swiss d4 Tripod Head with FlipLock Lever Quick Release will work with the Gitzo GIGT2545T Traveler Series 2 Carbon Fiber Tripod. I would say, that a larger tripod would be a better choice. Such as the Gitzo GT5543LS Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 2. Does this include a spike foot?

A: Unfortunately, Gitzo does not produce a spiked foot for this monopod.

Q: 3. Are the feet on the GIGT0545T (14.4 ) replaceable with standard 1/4-20 threaded feet? I need to add custom feet!

A: They do screw off. Being a Gitzo they are metric in their threads but I don't know the size. Perhaps the Gitzo website?

Q: 4. Will this tripod hold a Nikon D800 with a 70-200 lens attached?

A: Yes, but it will be borderline stable, I would recommend a tripod with a higher load capacity, like the Mefoto Roadtrip or Globetrotter.

Q: 5. What is the diameter of the plate where the head attaches? It looks rather small and seems that any head other than the GH1382TQD will stick out and prevent the legs from fully closing.

A: The plate diameter is 1 5/16 inches. I use s Arca_Swiss monoball ballhead which is a small size head. The tripod legs do not fold completely, but this is not a problem for me. A larger size head may be a problem.

Q: 6. Does this come with bag?

A: The GT1545T comes with a draw string dust cover for storage, but not a carrying bag.

Q: 7. How does this model differ from the GT1555T?

Q: 8. Does the 1545t have a ballast hook? I can't find that information anywhere.

A: There is no hook, but, you can order the hook from the GT1542 of the mountaineer series from gitzo.The part number is D104214. Hook . Just unscrew the bottom part of the center column, and screw this hook in. Its the same thread, same dimension and everything, but just has a hook at the end. This will add 15mm in length, but this really doesnt matter, and will still fit in the GC1202T.

Q: 9. Would this tripod be suitable for a Sony A1 with 200-600 lens? what head would be recommended? I f not suitable - what?

A: This is a fantastic choice for that combination. Options for a head depend on your usage. If you are doing wildlife or sports photography consider looking at Gimbal heads such as the Wimberly or the Oben. I would suggest you call or chat with one of our agents to better recommend a head for your specific needs.

Q: 10. I have RRS BH-30. Does BH-30 fit with this tripod correctly at the base? thanks

A: Yes, the BH30 is an appropriate head for the Gitzo series 1 tripods.

The bag is large enough to easily fit a mirrorless camera with telephoto lens. It is very well padded with lots of additional pockets for accessories. 5

I bought these camera bags for the Canon EOS T6 DSLRs we use in our high school photography program. They are compact and lightweight yet the cameras fit great inside with the 18-55mm lens attached. There are also side pockets for a battery charger, SD cards, filters, or whatever else you care to carry with you. 5

My Nikon D7200 with 18-140 lens fits comfortable. Side pockets are helpful... Could use a little bit more padding but I am not hard on my camera so fine for me. 5

The quality of the Camera Bag is really good. Really good quality and just really good for it's price. Buying a camera bag like this at a store in New Zealand costs heaps and this was cheaper with postage included. Has nice pockets for other things. Overall just a really good purchase. 5
