This 3-stop, 77mm Heliopan ND Filter provides a 3-stop exposure reduction. Its 0.9 optical density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed without overexposing your image. By slowing your exposure time, you can create motion blur for special effects or to convey a sense of movement. Opening your iris allows you to create shallow depth of field, which can help isolate your subject. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes four layers of anti-reflection coating. Together, these eight coatings offer greater protection to the filter substrate and help it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters.

This Heliopan neutral density filter is constructed from Schott glass for increased optical clarity as well as color fidelity and features a brass filter ring for enhanced durability and jamming prevention.

A: Yes. When using the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera with the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R, a Canon EF-s lens will automatically set the camera to crop mode which is about 9.3mp Due to that loss in resolution, still image quality will be a lot lower but it will still be fine for 4k video because 4k video is only about 8.2mp.
