The product was as advertised and I'm very pleased with it.

I use this product for photographing turned wood art objects such as vases, bowls, platters, and other vessels. The graduation is very uniform and truly neutral so it does not impart a color cast to the item being photographed. It is stiff enough to be used without a support underneath for most items, but works best if you have a curved sweep to place behind it. Rough items can leave white scratches in the finish, but I have taken care to not scratch it -- besides the most likely area o get scratched is the bottom edge which is white where scratches do not show. It is made of heavy duty plastic sheet and can be cleaned with a wet rag if it gets dirty.

I love it. Right size for my needs. The graduation seems to be just right. Cleans easily. So far, I've gotten great results. I wish there was also one that went from middle gray to black which would provide better separation for lighter objects. But I'm very happy with this white to gray.

I love these, they make my jewelry pop and are so much easier to light balance than pure white. The only problem with them is that jewelry scratches them even if you're careful, so in time they need replacing. Maybe once a year if you use them a lot, because the post production scratch removal starts to be annoying. As a backdrop if your product doesn't touch them, they'd last a lot longer. I love the light grey and though I'd love a more durable version, haven't found one in this color and shading anywhere. I use the gray on the bottom as my jewelry looks better laying on it, then I flip it to the gray on top when my jewelry is floating in front of it.

Bought this for my mother-in-law who makes and sells pottery. Her main concern (looking at the product on two different computers) was that it looked slightly blue-ish in tone and was worried it would not be really gray. I can assure others that it arrived true to color and a nice neutral for most pottery. She also said it was packaged well and the shipping was lightening fast! We are both pleased with this purchase and I will consider gifting her in the future another one of these as she expands her business.

I have been using this background for over a year now. I photographed hundreds of items with well over 2,000 staged photos. I read the previous reviews and agree the surface can scratch if not careful. I have been conscious of this and still have inadvertently scratched the surface. I found the metal items would leave most of these marks. A good quality eraser took care of most without damaging the background and has extended its useful life. I am still using it and plan to buy another in the future. I can recommend this item and highly recommend B&H Photo. Extremely fast shipping and great prices.

Shooting pictures of flowers tends to leave your space a mess. I have a frame for an infinity background, and had laid paper or cloth over the top of it before, but the material was always ruined. This material cleans up very easily, eliminating that problem. Lays perfectly over the curve of the infinity frame, and the gradient really makes the colors pop.

I positively loved this. I sell vintage glass items online and was struggling with my photos. This background did the trick. It helped to put my glassware as the focus, rather than the shine. Thank you.
