A: I have both. The camera does send both timecode and start/stop triggers over HDMI, and it works with the MixPre. The camera will also take timecode from the MixPre stereo out to the 3.5mm audio in. Can do it continuously, or jam sync. So you've got multiple methods to choose from.

Q: 8. How long will it last approx. on rechargeable lithium AA batteries?(2 phantom powered mics)

A: I've only experimented with regular Duracell AA alkalines, and it lasted about 20-30min. Would recommend getting the L-series adaptor before serious field use.

A: While they may be in the future, they are not yet iOS certified.
