The Tiffen 6 x 6" 2 Cool Blue Hard-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a cool, purplish-blue coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 2 color density provides less cool blue coloration than the 3 density, but more than the 1 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 6 x 6" / 152.4 x 152.4mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this lens work with the Nikon D60

A: As the above Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens for Canon is designed for use on the Canon EF lens mount, it will not be compatible with the Nikon D60. You would have to purchase the Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO Lens for Nikon, B&H # TA1630035DIN, for use on the Nikon D60 DSLR camera.

Q: 2. will this fit my canon EOS 50D?

A: It should because it fits on my EOS 40D.

Q: 3. will this fit my canon 600 d ?

A: Yes. The 600D (Rebel T3i) is compatible with all Canon mount lenses.

Q: 4. does tamron 16-300 work with d3300 Nikon?

A: Yes I am currently using the two together with no issues.

Q: 5. IS this lens compatable with the Canon 6D Camera?

A: This lens was not intended for it. The Tamron 16-300mm lens is exclusively designed for APS-C sensor typ cameras, while the Canon 6D is a full frame camera. Besides the optical shortcomings, functional problems may occur. I have used that lens with a Canon 70D, which has an APS-C sensor and experienced unrelaible exposure and occasional freeze-up of the camera. Inquiries at Canon were not very helpful. The lens worked absolutely flawless with an older Canon ti4 for which I actually bought the lens anyway as my light travel outfit. As to the lens itself, one has to remember the enormous zoom range when making any judgement or comparison to other lenses in regard to sharpness, distortion and other qualities. For the convenience of such zoom range, the optical performance of this lens is surprising. After recalibration at the factory, my lens shows decent sharpness at minimum distortions. Only the C/A is annoyingly strong and always requires editing. But at least I have my action shot with this lens range, which I would have otherwise lost while having to change lenses.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with full frame camera - canon 6d?

A: I don't think it is compatible w 6d. the info says for APS-C cameras, and the rear probably protrudes into the sensor area like Canon EF-S lenses do. Tamron makes a 28-300 lens for full-frame bodies.

Q: 7. Is the lens compatible with Canon EOS 100 D?

A: I have no idea. I shoot Nikon.

Q: 8. Is the warranty a USA warranty?

A: Yes, Tamron's limited 6 year warranty is USA only.

Q: 9. Will this lens work on my Nikon D800? Although the lens is configured for APS-C sensors, and not for full frame sensors, I note from some reader comments that the lens has been used successfully on the D800.

A: You can use this lens on a full frame camera like the D800, however, you will be able to see the crop factor within your frame and there will be vignette. There is an aps-c mode that you can also use on the D800 to avoid vignette.

Q: 10. Will this lens work with the Metabones Canon EF Lens to Blackmagic 2.5k Cinema Camera Speed Booster (Micro 4/3 Mount) on BMCC-MFT? Is there other parts of the lens apart from the autofocus system that require power to work?

A: I do not Know !
