The Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" 2 Cranberry Hard-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a magenta-like, pinkish-red coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 2 color density provides less cranberry coloration than the 3 density, but more than the 1 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this lens better than using 2 separate lenses? i.e. 18-55mm and 75-300mm?

A: I gave this lens to my daughter, this is what she wrote:Depending on what you want your aperture to be, I myself prefer using only one lens due to simplicity and laziness. If you need to take a lot of photos in dim light, I'd buy two different lenses with a more sensitive aperture; but for the everydayuse without the requirement of low f-numbers, I enjoy the wide range of possibilities this lens gives. I have several other lenses, but I barely use them since this one covers the wide range of angle of view and so most of my needs. So, I'd day 'yes', for me, this is a better lens.

Q: 2. Hi there, Does the lens come with an international warranty and if so what is the number of years? Thanks!

A: The Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 comes with a 6 year USA warranty. However, you have the option to add either a two or three year coverage plan through a third party company called Square Trade, which will provide international protection. You can find more information regarding Square Trade here: http://bhpho.to/1fMHaTB

Q: 3. Is this lens compatible with a teleconverter? I would be buying for the Canon adapter.

A: If I remember correctly it does not, I sent my lens back as I did not like the feel of it.

Q: 4. does this lens have lens creep?

A: I've been using this lens for over a year and have never had an issue with lens creep. This is a great all in one lens that I highly recommend!

Q: 5. Will tamron 16-300mm Lens compatible with canon eos sl2? Or need firmware upgrade?

A: This lens would be compatible with the Canon EOS SL2.

Q: 6. Nikon d7200

A: I don't seeyour question. However I own this lens and love it for a all around lens. the wide and long end are greater than others. I like it so much over my 18-200 nikon, which i just sold. Just as sharp and easy to use.

Q: 7. Does tameron make a comparable lens in FX format that can be used with A Nikon d 750

A: This particular Tamron lens is for a DX not FX. Although it will work, to take full advantage of the full frame (FX) of a D750, you should use an FX lens. I use a Tamron 28-300mm which is an FX lens.

Q: 8. Will this lens work on a Nikon D60 and Nikon D5300? Any problems with focusing?

A: Yes, it does. As a matter of fact, I have this lens on a Nikon D5300 and I love it.

Q: 9. Will this lens auto focus with Nikon D3300?

A: The Tamron 16-300mm lens for Nikon will be fully compatible with the D3300, including autofocus.

Q: 10. Has anyone actually used this lens on a Canon 70D to shoot video and if so, does it work? I have a Tamron 28-300 that will not work for video and I don't want to buy another unless I know it works.

A: I haven't used my Tamron 16-300 VC on my Canon 70D. For video I use the STM lenses.
