The desert tan Pelican 1610 Large Case without Foam is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion-proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment. It is made of ultra-high-impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" neoprene O-ring, four easy-open double-throw latches that seal perfectly. It has a built-in automatic pressure equalization valve for changes in altitude or temperature. The case uses stainless steel hardware and has padlock protectors to provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. It is carried by three comfortable rubber overmolded haul handles, a retractable handle and built-in wheels.

Q: 8. Would this case protect monolights: particularly an Einstein 640? I'd like to use it for airline travel.

A: Robert i believe they are. I used them for my elinchroms and they were pretty dam tight. I believe the regular paddings that we have in our shoulder bags isnt as great to protect since they have enough space for items to move but when you do foam, you are able to cut exactly as the dimensions of your product. When i put my elinchroms in it, i kept it opened once and just banged it on the ground from my knee height and noticed that they didnt move a bit. Meanwhile i will also try to add in customer shots here on the same page so you could see how i placed the lights.

A: Hi William!Yes you can. The dividers are totally removable in one piece.
