The Porta Brace PC-2 Production Case, in black, is designed to protect, carry, and organize a complete mix of video or audio field equipment. The case is made from 1000-denier Cordura, with a rigid plastic interior. It features a roomy interior with easily adjusted partitions for securing the equipment. There are two large mesh pockets in the top lid, interior pockets on all sides of the main compartment, and five sturdy outside pockets of various sizes and shapes that are color-coded to help you organize accessories. A: This is a brand new product, which we have yet to receive in stock, and have therefore, not been able to test it in a real life environment. There are currently no sources that specify how loud or quiet the fan on this unit may be.

A: You will be able to adjust the position of the smaller image on the screen when using Picture-In-Picture Mode. You will also be able to change the color and the width of the border around the smaller image, however you will not be able to change the size of the smaller image itself.

A: This is a very basic switcher, have not seen any way for a tally light. If you are looking for a simple, economical switcher, this is a great option, if you want advanced controls or down keys, look elsewhere.

A: The Roland V-1HD is HDCP compliant, which gives you a wide variety of options for MPEG Video Playback. You could connect a computer with an HDMI output directly to this unit, or you could look at Media Players with HDMI like a Roku or Apple TV. You could even connect a tablet to this switcher and play back video that way. However there is no product available that will automatically start playing when you switch to the assigned channel, the operate will have to manually start the video.

A: Yes, this unit can take 1080p as an input and provide 1080i as an output.

A: Actually, it is not the switcher but the signal that cannot handle long cable runs since HDMI becomes too weak after 30-50' or so. Q: 10. Hi there. Wondering if anyone has successfully used an iPad for the 4 channel preview output? My assumption is that this is possible and would just need a conversion from the HDMI preview output to an iPad. A: I would doubt that this would be possible, especially with the closed framework of Apple with the iPad as it usually cannot be setup as a monitor. I purchased a small 8 monitor for my compact setup and that works great.
