I've had the speakers connected over a week now. The regular tv speakers would not go loud enough to hear the people speak. These Roku speakers don't even have to go to 50% and are plenty loud enough. Also the special effects don't blare and overshadow the whole movie. So far I love the speakers. I will be testing how far from the tv they can be moved soon. 5

Pre-ordered the Roku speakers to go with our TCL Roku tv and are very pleased 2 weeks in. Set up was quick and easy. The speakers are a definite improvement in volume and sound quality for someone who doesn't consider themselves an audiophile. The remote with mic commands is a nice bonus for quick content. Our speakers sit comfortably ~2ft from the tv with the provided power cables. The only small negative would be if we wanted them in a different location, we would need extension cords. Great bargain for a quick and high quality upgrade to sound. 5
