Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the CRI ?

A: In addition to the answer already here, the higher the number the better the light on the CRI value. This light is supposed to have a 90 or greater CRI value. I've seen several spec sheets that claim 93 and some 95 . Generally a high end and well-calibrated spectrometer is the only way to know for sure with each light that you own. At this price point, I'd go for the 90 value in terms of guessing;-) They are nice lights though, especially for dollars expended.

Q: 2. Would this camera work for a Nikon D7100?

A: Yes. This tripod is compatible with the Nikon D7100 camera and is a suitable option for it and most all lens options available for it.

Q: 3. Can the lid be detached for scanning larger photos and then stitched together?

A: No, the lid is not made to come off of the Canon CanoScan LiDE 300 Slim Color Image Scanner

Q: 5. Which light is iluminates stronger? the one with variable light or the one with 5500k? and does the orange filter makes it a full warm color temperature?

A: Both the Yongnuo 300-III LED Variable-Color On-Camera Light B&H # YOYN300III and the Yongnuo 300-IIIW LED On-Camera Video Light (5500K) B&H # YOYN300IIIW have a Lumens rating of 2280. The filter make very orange warm light.

Q: 6. USB connector type? (scanner side)

A: A Scanner expert says: "I purchased the USB connector separately, It's the one listed under accessories for this scanner. On the web page for this scanner one can see the compatible cable. The regular end of the cable plugs into the computer, the smaller end into the scanner. There is no power cord since this scanner gets its power from the computer."

Q: 7. Can it fit in Canon 70D and a stabilizing handle?

A: The 300-III will fit in the shoe on the top of my 5D3. As for the stabilizing handle - it all depends on whether your handle (no type mentioned) runs above the top of the camera and might interfere with the light.

Q: 8. Does scanner recognize when four photos need to be separated and scanned as 4 pictures not as 1 image?

A: You can preview multiple images then select and adjust the images before scanning the batch.

Q: 9. Can It connect to the lightning port on an iPad?

A: It does not connect to a lightning port on an Ipad.

Q: 10. Does the IR remote have a light on/off capability?

A: Yes! While not possible to discern in the photo of all of the items included with the Yongnuo YN300III LED On-Camera Light (5600K) (B&H# YOYN300III56), the top-left button on the remote control is used to turn the light off and the top-right button is used to turn the light on.
