Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this work for a TX Canon (1974)? I don't really know much about vintage cameras and film and I am trying to figure out what I would use... Also, how do you get the pictures after? I didn't think anyone developed rolls of film anymore, so I don't know where to go.

A: Tri-X is a pretty forgiving film that many people have used for ages. With minimal equipment and chemistry, a room that you can darken totally for 5-10 minutes while you load a light-tight developing tank, and a little practice, you can develop your own film at home, then scan the film and print your images digitally. Try it!

Q: 2. How do i know expiration date?

A: Any film that was within 6-months of its expiration date would be sold as short dated and listed as such on our site. All other film will be at least 6 months out from its expiration date.

Q: 3. Is using a filter recommended, such as a yellow filter, when shooting landscapes?

A: I got very good results without using any filer.. Not sure what the subject will look like with a yellow filer..!

Q: 4. Do you know of any equipment or companies that will perforate this stock?

A: Unfortunately,B&H does not sell a 35mm film perforator, and I am not aware of any company that provides this service (nor did I see any listed via a Google search).

Q: 5. Is the film expired?

A: This film should not be expired at the time of sale.

Q: 6. How to order more than one roll?

A: Are you using a phone app to place your order? Try with a computer, and it might allow you to change the quantity in your cart.

Q: 7. Is it DX-coded film ?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 8. When is the expiry date of the film

A: Current inventory in our 420 superstore has an expiration date of November 2022. Based on the batch received, inventory in possession might have varying dates around the same approximate time period.

Q: 9. Don't be shy and say how old is that film?

A: we are sorry but we have been out of stock for the past three weeks 9/15/22

Q: 10. How many are there in the box?

A: One role per box: This item is one 36-exposure roll of 35mm film
