The Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is cocoa and features a 2.5mm Stereo Sub-mini connector for Samson transmitters.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear pads. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. For more information on which color earset suits you best, refer to the Countryman support page.

The included 2mm Diameter Duramax Cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I buy a Godox X1R receiver for use with the E250, can I use my X1Ts to fire the flash wirelessly?

A: The trigger that is needed for this monolight is the Godox XTR16 Wireless Power-Control Flash Trigger Transmitter B&H # GOXT16. https://bhpho.to/2POsXN7

Q: 2. Is the plate on the g-10kx compatible with the Sirui E-20 ball head which is on the et-2004 tripod?

A: All Sirui plates for the ball heads are aArca compatible and are all interchangeable

Q: 3. Will this head mount on a monopod?

A: It fits on mine. You need to check the thread size and make sure that they are compatible. That being said, I find that having a ball head on a monopod is a little bit awkward. It's quite hard to move the head with one hand while holding the monopod with the other hand.

Q: 4. will the safety pins on a Wimberley plate (P-20 in my case) work in the clamp with this, sirui K-30X, ball head?

A: We are of the opinion that it should not be an issue. If it is, the pins can be removed.

Q: 5. Will it take Haoge 350mm Y-type Telephoto Lens Support Bracket?Want to use with Canon 80D + Tamron 150-600mm + y bracketThanks!

A: The best thing to do is contact Sirui, On their web site you will find a phone number to contact them. I would not know about the bracket properly fitting.

Q: 6. What size is the flash sync port? Is it a standard 3.5mm size? I would like to be able to fire this flash with a pocket wizard.

A: The flash sync port on the QS400 II Flash Head is 3.5mm, so it can accept a Pocket Wizard connected with a short sync cable of that type.

Q: 7. What barndoors would fit this flash?

A: Please review the following item. Godox Barndoor Kit BH #GOBD04 • MFR #BD-04 https://bhpho.to/3HzUUVw

Q: 8. What case would you suggest for this flash?

A: Please review the following case as it will accommodate the strobe and much needed accessories that are needed. Impact LKB-4C Light Kit Bag (Black) BH #IMLKB4C • MFR #LKB-4C https://bhpho.to/2pBC2hJ

Q: 9. will this head mount on a monopod with Canon R5 MarkII 200-800mm lens or do I need to buy Oben VH-A30 Tilt Head for Monopods?

A: The Sirui K-30x Ball Head can be use on a monopod if it has a 3/8" screw. Most monopods do. The downside of using a large ball head like this on a monopod is that it has a lot of movement that you may not need on a monopod. It is also larger and heavier. My recommendation for a monopod is the Wimberley MH-100 MonoGimbal Head for Monopods BH #WIMH100. It allows you to find the center of balance of the camera and lens and move them to any angle with weightless freedom. You do need to purchase an arca type plate with it, as it does not include one. For the Canon 200-800 lens I recommend the Kirk Universal Multi-Use Lens Plate with 2 Screws (4.5") BH #KIKLP4502NV2.

Q: 10. I have the Godox XProC trigger already. Did I also need to purchase a receiver for this or is it built in?

A: An X series receiver is already built into this monolight, so your XPRO C transmitter can fire it.
