Q: 1. Does this mic record in stereo?
A: No.

A: Yes, the Sony ECM-G1 is fully compatible with the Sony FDR-AX43A.
Q: 3. Can this microphone output to both an MI Shoe and 3.5mm Jack simultaneously?
A: No, the Sony ECM-G1 does not output via 3.5mm analog jack and MI shoe at the same time.
Q: 4. I am interested in this microphone. Is there a way to connect Multi Interface Shoe with a cable so that I can use this microphone on a boom in our studio (but still be connected via the cable to the camera)?
A: No, the ECM-B1M is designed specifically for cable-free connection with Sony's Multi-Interface Shoe. It only works when used while attached to the camera. At this time there is no accessory available that would allow the mic to be used off-camera.
Q: 5. Would this mic work on a Canon EOS Rebel T3i 600D?
A: Yes
Q: 6. Is the sony ECM-GZ1M microphone compatible with the Sony cybershot dsc hx60v? Thanks.
A: The Sony ECM-GZ1M Zoom Microphone will be compatible with the Sony HX60V, yes.
Q: 7. Compared to the Sony XLR-K3M Kit what is the difference in quality? I have an A7III, what should I observe before deciding to buy the ECM-B1M or XLR-K3M?
A: They are very different microphones. The KM3 allows you flexibility to use other XLR mics. The B1M is more compact. If you pair it with a A7RM4 its a fully digital path. If you are looking for flexibility then get the KM3. If you want a small mic with some noise isolation then get the B1M.

A: This should work with any camera with an external mic port.

A: The Roland R26 3.5mm mic input jack does support mics that require plug in power such as the Rode VideoMicro. These items are compatible.
Q: 10. Will this accommodate a Rode NT4 stereo mic? Also, what pistol grip is recommended for this shock mount?
A: I bought mine for a Sennheiser MKH416.. don't know if it'll work with a Rode NT4.
