A: It does scan 120 film format negatives using the included film frame. The film frame opening is approximately 2-3/16 x 8-5/8 . Be sure to place the shiny side of the negative downward toward the scanner bed. You may want to use a dpi setting between 3000 to 4000. You also want to turn off Digital Ice. It doesn't work well with silver based negatives.

And remember, this comes with Silverfast, great powerful software and that's the part that you'll be using (or Epson Scan, good software that also works with Macs with no issue).
