Replicating the appearance and feel of a traditional F-surface darkroom paper, Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper aims to provide users with a beautiful soft gloss finish for their digital prints. A fiber base offers a professional feel with a weight of 325 gsm and thickness of 13 mil, making it an excellent choice for galleries and exhibitions. Also, by utilizing some optical brightening agents the paper is able to reach a whiteness of 147% and a brightness of 111%. This makes it possible to create prints with deep blacks and subtle tonal gradations, suitable for advanced black-and-white printing as well as long-lasting color prints. Additionally, this paper is instant drying.

This paper is available here as a 25-pack of 8.5 x 11" sheets.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Could anyone please confirm the statement I got from the review of other source of this product "My tripod came apart while in use. The threads holding the ballhead mounting plate to the tripod are made of plastic, and they pulled apart.?

A: The threads holding the qr clamp are metal as well as the bottom threads of the ball head.

Q: 2. will it scan 120 film format? is there a frame included? how many negatives can be scaned at at time and how long does it take? I plan to scan 6x6 negatives.

A: It does scan 120 film format negatives using the included film frame. The film frame opening is approximately 2-3/16 x 8-5/8 . Be sure to place the shiny side of the negative downward toward the scanner bed. You may want to use a dpi setting between 3000 to 4000. You also want to turn off Digital Ice. It doesn't work well with silver based negatives.

Q: 3. What is the total weight of the tripod and the ball head?

A: Mine weighed in at 3.01 lbs. The description is misleading as it implies that the system only weighs 2.2 lbs. Even the legs alone weighed 2.4 lbs. The ball head weighed about 0.6 lbs.

Q: 4. Can the cover of the scanner be removed to scan large documents in sections?

A: Unfortunately, the cover on the Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner cannot be removed to scan large documents in sections.

Q: 5. Can I scan six strips of 35 mm film (6 frames each) on the glass at one time? Will it all be scanned and will the scan be sharp. I want to do this without negative holder frames.

A: Yes, unit will allow scans of 2 35mm strips with 6 frames at a time. For the best results we advise adjusting and fine tuning your scan settings and 35mm film holder tray.

Q: 6. It can be used in 220V? I'm from Chile, and I'd like to know... Thanks

A: Yes it can be used in Chile on the little box that has the plug that you plug into the wall in says input volts 100-240 output 24 volts. I bought mine from B & H and I live in California and it says mine will work on both 110 to 240Leo

Q: 7. I am considering buying this v850 scanner but I'm reading that it is not compatible with the latest version of mac software ( el capitan i believe) any advice if epson will update this problem?

A: I wish I knew why people who do not know the answer (e.g., I'm a Windows user and do not know about Macs) waste this space. Really folks, do you need to raise your hands when you have nothing to say?The answer is yes, of course it works. It works on OS X.9, X.10, X.11, X.12, X.13. And remember, this comes with Silverfast, great powerful software and that's the part that you'll be using (or Epson Scan, good software that also works with Macs with no issue).

Q: 8. can a gimble head be attached to this tripod?

A: Yes a gimbal head can be attached to this tripod.

Q: 9. Can someone at B&H physically weigh this tripod in response to the multiple weights mentioned in the Q&A?

A: The weight of the Sirui A1205 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Y-11 Ball Head is 2.82 lbs, according to the Sirui website.

Q: 10. How big is the lamp in the back of the lid? I have 8 X 10 negatives. Will I be able to scan them?

A: You can scan 8X10 prints and other reflective material but not 8X10 negatives. 120 negatives or transparencies is the largest film size that this scanner is capable of scanning.
