The Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is tan and features a Switchcraft TA4-Female connector for Sabine transmitters.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear pads. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. For more information on which color earset suits you best, refer to the Countryman support page.

The included 1mm Diameter Cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Godox studio flashes 600 or any ser. does it comes in 220 V ?

A: No

Q: 2. Can one use an X1 trigger to control this light?

A: Yes you can control manual power on this flash from the trigger

Q: 3. Where do you install an umbrella? I can't see it

A: There is a slot where the stand adapter meets the bottom of the monolight. That slot accepts the umbrella once you have inserted it through the punched out slot on the reflector.

Q: 4. Will this fit the Sirui SR-3004 tripod? Will this G-20X work with Acra Swiss L bracket?

A: Yes, the G-20X Ball Head does fit on the Sirui SR-3004 and it will accept an Arca Swiss L-Bracket.

Q: 5. Is this ball head sturdy enough for a 400 mm lens or is it better to go with the K-30X?

A: I have used this head (on the Sirui T-2205X legs) fairly extensively with both 400 and 600mm EFL primes lenses (200 and 300 mm on micro four thirds) and also with a 200-600mm EFL zoom. I have had fairly good results with all of them. I also own a big aluminum Gitzo 320 tripod with a couple of much larger heads (this combination is MUCH heavier than my Sirui carbon tripod and K-20X head). Not surprisingly, the results are usually better with this heavier rig and if you plan to shoot 400mm or longer a lot, especially on a large body (I shoot with Olympus EM1 and Panasonic GH3 bodies most of the time), you might be better off to go heavier. If you shoot mostly shorter focal lengths you should be OK with the K-20X, assuming the tripod legs are not too light and the camera/lens is not too heavy.I use my heavy (almost ten pounds w/ a head!) Gitzo whenever I am willing to carry it, which means roadside and on short hikes. I often shoot several miles from the road and that's where the Sirui carbon tripod and K-20X head get most of their use. With careful technique (one of the biggest factors in shooting super-telephoto - always use a remote release, experiment with image stabilization to find the best results and generally be meticulous) and a willingness to accept a somewhat lower percentage of tack sharp images this head will get the job done. For its size I doubt you will find any head that is noticeably sturdier but bigger heads and bigger legs do make a difference, both in stability and in weight. So, the real question is how much are you willing to carry? A heavy rig plus a lighter one gives you the ability to tailor your tripod to the situation but the K-20X on an appropriate set of legs is very versatile and if you have just one that would be a good choice.

Q: 6. I was wondering if anyone has tried taking the clamp off (to replace) and how hard it was?

A: The quick release system is permanent on that tripod head. It is not meant to come off.

Q: 7. Are the control nobs plastic/metal or covered with rubber ?

A: They feel like they are hard plastic or metal

Q: 8. Will this ballhead be able to support a canon 5d and a 16-35 2.8 L III without any creep?

A: I use this head mostly with a Canon 80D (1.8 lbs.) with a Sigma 150-600 Sport (8 lbs.). There is no creep for me even when lens is fully extended. No issues for me. It is rock solid.

Q: 9. Are the threads holding the ballhead mounting plate to the tripod made of plastic or metal?

A: The whole ball head is made of metal.

Q: 10. Can i use a beauty dish with this flash ? (made by Godox or other brand with a compatible adapter)

A: Unfortunately, there is no beauty dish attachments available for this monolight.
