The Countryman E6i Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

The omnidirectional version is most common in applications where feedback issues are not very likely. The microphone can be worn without a windscreen as the omnidirectional capsule provides excellent wind noise rejection.

The E6i is set apart from the original E6 with its softer flexible boom and silicon ear-pads. The flexible boom provides ease of boom adjustability to accommodate multi-user applications.

A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is beige and features a 1/8" (3.5mm) Locking-mini connector for Sennheiser transmitters.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear pads. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. For more information on which color earset suits you best, refer to the Countryman support page.

The included 2mm Diameter Duramax Cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

This E6i's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture strong vocals without noise and distortion. The high headroom is well suited for singers and performers in stage and broadcast applications.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this moonlight come with a reflector, power cord, modeling light and flash tube?

A: The Godox QS600II Flash Head comes with a flash tube, power cord and modeling light. It does not come with a reflector.

Q: 2. Are the control nobs plastic/metal or covered with rubber ?

A: They feel like they are hard plastic or metal

Q: 3. will this head hold my canon 600mm mk2 with 1.4x convertor and 1DXMK2 rig without creep?

A: It probably will, as long as it is not too cold, the wind is not too high, and your subject is not too vertical. I have a D500 with a 200-500 (no TC), and the head is usually very solid. It crept a bit during the lunar eclipse last month, but it was 2 degrees, with a 25 mile an hour wind and the moon was almost straight up. I still got several great images.

Q: 4. According to the info of In the Box , the quick release plate is included. But when I tried to check out, it prompted me to order the essential accessory of the quick release plate. Is the plate included or do I have to place the extra order? Also, does it fit the Oben tripod? Thank you.

A: The K-40x does come with a quick release plate, you do not need to purchase one separately unless you want a second plate. You can use the K-40x on a set of Oben legs, yes.

Q: 5. I have an ALTA PRO 263AB 100 Tripod. I am looking for a Arca swiss type compatible ball head for my L-bracket. Would this one be compatible?

A: Yes. The K-20x mounts very easily on the Alta Pro. You might need an 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 Screw Adapter (BH #SM1610) in case you don't have the one that came with the Alta Pro, as the tripod's camera mounting screw is a 1/4"-20 male, whereas the K-20X's base mount is 3/8"-16 female.

Q: 6. Hi:What is the difference between the Sirui G20X and G20KX?Thanks

A: The Sirui G20X and G20KX are the same ball head.

Q: 7. Is this ball head compatible with a Gitzo GT2542T Series 2 Traveler Tripod?

A: Both Gitzo and Sirui heads and tripods use a 1/4-20 thread screw mount so I would say the answer is Yes .

Q: 8. Does the G-20x ball head fit onto the P-204 monopod??

A: The G-20X will mount on the P-204 Monopod.

Q: 9. Is this 100% compatible with Kirk L Bracket?

A: Yes, works fine with my Kirk L's on my 6D, D7100, and D90.

Q: 10. I have a D750 camera and a Tamron 150-600 g2. I bought the Sirui W2240 tripod and I'm trying to decide between the G20X and the G30X. Any suggestions?

A: I think I'd go with the G30 - that's a pretty heavy load you are talking about.
