The Countryman E6 Cardioid Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.
The cardioid version effectively minimizes off-axis feedback and noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and noisy sources. Flexible microphone positioning is maintained and the included windscreen minimizes the wind noise often associated with cardioid microphones.
The E6 is set apart from the E6i with its stiffer flexible boom. The flexible boom maintains its shape for custom, single-user size adjustments.
A wide variety of colors and connections are available for use with various wireless transmitters. This version is cocoa and the cable terminates to a 3-pin Lemo connector for Sennheiser wireless transmitters.

A miniature cardioid capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. For more information on which color ear-set suits you best, refer to the Countryman support page.
The included removable, quick-swap cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters.
The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing off-axis residual noise from nearby monitor speakers, instruments and loud sources. The flexible boom provides a stiff fit that maintains its shape for single user applications. The E6 is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.
This E6's sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture speaking and vocals without noise and distortion.

Q: 2. I was wondering if this will work with the Black Magic Design Pocket Cine Camera?
A: I have it on DJI Osmo - light very good sound capture. Plug in and go.
Q: 3. Will this microphone be compatible with the Sony a37?
A: As long as it has a mic input you are good to go .. Its a awesome mic
Q: 4. Is the line out supposed to be a mic out instead? Reason why I am asking is because I want to plug it into a Rode Wireless Go, and I don't want to blow the receiver. If it's indeed a line out, the signal might be too hot I assume.
A: It does seem odd that the main audio output on the VXR10 PRO would be labeled as a "line" output when the audio output signal is mic level. It is most likely just improper translation from Chinese to English. The instruction manual and product photos show it as the proper output to use when connecting the VXR10 PRO to the mic input on cameras and recorders. Since the primary output on a microphone is a mic level audio signal and the mic inputs on a camera and recorder typically require mic level signal, it seems that the label on the VXR10 PRO is creating confusion since the signal delivered is a mic level audio signal. The headphone output does provide an actual line level signal.
Q: 5. Dose this work with a cannon T3i?
A: Yes they are compatible, both the camera and mic have the same connection (3.5mm connector).
Q: 6. I'm not getting any signal from the headphone output. I'm using a standard 1/8th 3.5 mm headphone. Any suggestions?
A: Have you tried a different pair of headphones to see if that works? What do you have the microphone connected to?
Q: 7. Is mic compatible with Fuji x100v? If "yes", what kind of cable do I need to purchase?
A: Yes, the Movo Photo VXR10 is compatible for use with a Fuji X100V camera. You can use a cable with 3.5mm TRS and 2.5mm TRS end such as the Beachtek SC25 3.5mm to 2.5mm TRS Output Cable (B&H #BESC25) to connect the mic to the camera's 2.5mm input.
Q: 8. will this mic work for iPhone live Facebook streaming? Are there noise problems as noted with Video Mic Me?
A: I normally don't use this with an iPhone but it does work. You just have to find a way to mount it. I mainly use it with my GoPro. Sound quality is really good. Took it to DisneyLand on some rides and audio is clear.
Q: 9. The Lyre Shoe Mount is broken on mine by accident. Where can I purchase the part (Lyre Shoe Mount)?
A: Unfortunately the mount is not available for purchase as a separate item. Please contact a Representative here at 800-606-6969 for assistance. You may also wish to contact Rode directly: usasupport@a href= http://rode.com target= _blank rode.com/a
Q: 10. How do you mount this to a smartphone or iPad?
A: Many smartphone and tablet holders have female threads or cold shoe mounts to attach accessories like microphones and lights. The shock mount for the Rode VideoMicro has a 3/8"-16 female thread on the bottom of the cold shoe. The female threads on smartphone and tablet holders are often 1/4"-20 so all you need is a thread adapter to attach it to the smartphone or tablet holder for that type of setup. For example, the Ulanzi U-Pad Pro Tablet Tripod Mount (B&H # ULUPADPRO), the SHAPE Aluminum Tablet Tripod Mount with Cold Shoe (B&H # SHTATM), and Oben ASPTA-20 Smartphone Tripod Adapter (B&H # OBASPTA20) all have a cold shoe mount on top. The Oben ATSPTA-20 also has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female threads. The Xuma Smartphone Mount (B&H # XUMTA300B) has 1/4"-20 threads. You can use a thread adapter like the Kupo 3/8"-16 Male to 1/4"-20 Male Thread Adapter (B&H # KUKG007512) to attach the mic to any 1/4"-20 female thread. If you have a specific smartphone or tablet holder that you want to use, just let us know and we can help you to find the appropriate adapters. You can reach us directly through live chat on the website or by phone.
