I've had many Domke camera bags and still do. This thing looked & felt pretty familiar to me. Nice heavy canvas well stitched. No extraneous nonsense like unusable pockets or obnoxious padding. Big time zipper. No Velcro. The strap frees up your hands for things like model placement. Does a great job of storing or transporting your tripod. Domke quality. 5

I am traveling on assignment with less gear than I used to, and needed a tripod bag that held less than my customary big tripod and 5 stands. This is the perfect size for a small Gitzo1158 pod, a stand and umbrella, which is my default location kit now. It slings against the back for easy carrying. Because it's not padded (a feature benefit, actually), it folds up nicely in luggage and won't take up a lot of room. It's heavy canvas, so it will last a long time. 5

Years ago I used to shlep stands, pods and light modifiers in a well-worn canvas duffel bag. To keep from rattling around against everything else, I'd bungee everything together. One day the duffel bag gave up the ghost. These Domke trpid bags are a good solution for small and medium sized pieces of gear like smaller stands, pods and modifiers. Reasonable price, built to wear, easy to carry (I'm 6'1) and they won't chip, peel, rust, crack warp or flake. I still use the bungees and to protect ball heads from anything, including weather or metal rash, I just put a small Zing or other lens bag over the head when it's not in use. A Domke or other wrap will work nicely or a dish towell with a large rubber band. 5

It fits nicely my Gitzo GT-3542 with the Linhof Profi II head.� It's heavy canvas, unpadded, so it is heavy duty. The strap it's a little bit short, so it's not possible to carry it across your chest. 5
