The tan E6i (Switchcraft 851) from Countryman is a miniature, omnidirectional, earset condenser microphone designed for accurate voice reproduction (speaking and singing) and near-invisible appearance in theater, concerts, lectures, houses or worship, and more. It features a water- and wind-resistant capsule that delivers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. The omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions and should be used when feedback is not common.

The 5’ detachable cable has a diameter of 2mm, and features a Switchcraft 851 connector for compatibility with Lectrosonics transmitters. The E6i offers a flexible boom for versatile placement. The three protective caps yield different high-end frequency presence. The supplied windscreen protects the condenser element, and reduces plosives and wind noise. Cable clips and a carrying case are included.

A miniature omnidirectional capsule is mounted to a low-profile, flexible frame with silicon ear section. This lightweight, unobtrusive design is available in various colors that virtually render the entire microphone invisible against the skin. The included 2mm diameter cable detaches from the actual headset, making it completely replaceable in the event of a short or break. The replaceable cable design makes upgrading wireless microphone systems easy, as they are available in a wide selection of connections to accommodate various wireless transmitters. The Duramax 2mm diameter cable provides extra strength, flexibility and durability.

The omnidirectional polar pattern is most effective in minimizing wind noise, plosives (popping) and handling noise. The flexible boom provides a custom fit for multiple users and close microphone positioning while minimizing off-axis noise. The E6i is also available in a cardioid version for maximum off-axis noise rejection in environments with high feedback and noise.

This E6i sensitivity response is optimized to accurately capture both speech and vocal performances without noise and distortion.

Nice remote timer that does the job at half the price of the canon remote. Looked at the wireless version but didn't want to have to worry about two pieces since the wireless version had the reciever that went into the hotshoe and then plugged into the camera. Simple operation and having fun learning to create stop motion vids. 5

This is great for remote shutter release when camera shake can be an issue. Also the timer aspect really allows for extended shutter openings and repetitive shots on regular intervals. This is a great tool that I will be getting a lot of use out of. It is a bit large for the camera bag but it does fit. Of course B & H delivered early during the busy holiday season on top of ease in ordering. 5

It has all the features I needed. Now I can make use of my tripod as it was intended. Focus is more precise and clarity of pictures is greatly improved. Back-lit feature is most helpful when shooting at night. Even when turned off, it works as a shutter release. 5

This product works well as an intervalometer. It is a little large, but not heavy. The one drawback (at least on my copy, maybe not for the model) is that the shutter release button has a hard time locking into place for bulb shots. This is not a problem for timed exposures (which are activated by a separate button), and the button usually stays clicked in on the second try, but still a minor nuisance. 5

used mainly as a remote shutter release, everything else is a bonus. I don't even need batteries to use it as a simple shutter release- it's made just as good as Nikon's, and is a lot less expensive! 5

This little remote works well. It does everything that is expected of it. I have a Nikon MC-30 remote that works great for triggering the camera, but the Shutterboss adds versatility and controls time-lapse photography quite well. I do not see a reason to spend the money to get the Nikon brand. 5
