A: To be honest I bought the the single , double and triple but for the single suction no sleeves to be attached its only work as a single suction cup only

A: I would say yes if care is taken to completely rinse off the salt water after use. The two sections that slide together are very snug. It makes for a solid pole however if dried salt was in there it would make it hard for the pole to easily extend.
