The Countryman E6 Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature ear-set microphone for virtually invisible operation in stage performances, trade shows, houses-of-worship, auctions, lectures and much more.

A: The unique design on the Sony ECM-GZ1M zoom microphone makes it a challenge for a perfect fitting mic muff. There currently isn't a specific muff available for it. We do offer a decent option made by Cavision that is worth looking at. The SWJ225 in either 6 or 5 length; B&H# CASWJ2256, and CASWJ2255.

Q: 5. Is this microphone Mac compatible straight out of the box? I'd like to use it for web conferencing on a Mac Mini.

A: This is not designed for web conferencing use straight out of the box. You will need either of these usb adapters to allow for a separate mic in and headphone out B&H # SAAUMMSA or B&H # SAAUMMSC.

A: The Rode Videomic is has a wider frequency range (40Hz - 20kHz) compared to the Sony (150Hz to 15kHz), but for voice or nat sound, the Sony would be fine. The build quality on the Rode is fantasic, but the price is double. Plus, the Rode doesn't have the Sony Active interface shoe (or whatever they're calling the new Sony standard this week) , so you'll need to make sure you have a mic input jack on your camera. I love Rode mics: in this case, would opt for the Sony is you have a Sony with the interface shoe. Otherwise, the Rode is superior.
